SUMMARY
Supports, guides, and optimizes the technical operations of Human Resources (HR) through Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) system, Ceridian Dayforce, and other HR systems as needed. Provides support and troubleshooting for daily activities for HR team and other users of these systems. HCM modules supported include Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Management, Performance, Recruiting, Onboarding, and Reporting (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and Business Intelligence (BI) Publisher). Performs functional quality assurance testing and documentation in preparation for all HR business cycles and system upgrades. Assists HR with any technical needs and creates process documentation as needed.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports users that report issues with regards to the Human Resources (HR) systems by: asking guiding questions to obtain more details, investigating the reported issue in depth, executing testing in our lower environments to determine the root-cause, and resolving the issue.
- Configures and modifies select setups for various modules in the HR system and provides support throughout entire annual business cycle. Prepares and maintains project and system documentation, including current procedures, configuration, issues documentation, and other functional documentation required by department management.
- Provides first-level support in troubleshooting HR Core records in Human Capital Management (HCM) system and monitors the Transaction Console as needed. Collaborates with Information Technology (IT) and external vendors as needed to ensure seamless integration of HCM with other systems and coordinate the necessary actions to resolve second-level, more advanced HCM system issues.
- Along with HR Project Manager, provides direction to HR and other Subaru of America (SOA) departments regarding capabilities of HR systems and how to leverage them to solve business problems. Recommends opportunities for improvements regarding system processes when evident. Works with HR Project Manager and HR department Centers of Excellence on ad hoc system enhancements and technology projects.
- Troubleshoots and resolves problems for the Payroll group with respect to Ceridian Dayforce interfaces from Oracle HCM.
- Responds to ad hoc data requests by providing reports to employees (intradepartmental / interdepartmental) using HR system pre-existing report library (Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) and SQL), Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), and Excel.
- Serves as an HR report catalogue owner and works with IT team to maintain, update, and redesign/recode reports as needed.
- Works with HR Systems team and IT team to develop test cases for annual business cycles and HR processes. Participates in prototype and user acceptance testing (UAT) for quarterly upgrades to HR systems.
- Creates and updates organizational data within HR system including position management and maintenance (business unit sets, business units, departments, locations, positions, jobs, etc.). Works with all appropriate departments as needed to keep organizational structure up to date and consistent in all SOA systems. Works towards correcting data quality issues as they arise.
- Works with HR Project Manager to execute annual headcount approval processes. Works with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition team to manage all day-to-day tracking of newly-approved headcount approvals and backfills to ensure accuracy of headcount in HCM. Creates and provides monthly headcount reports to appropriate stakeholders.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enters and manages tickets in IT's support tracking system.
- Creates graphical analytics to display common and advanced demographic data for the organization.
- When necessary, assists with the processing of biweekly job, position, and/or salary changes.
REQUIRED SKILLS & PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced human resources information system (HRIS) knowledge and experience working in a Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud environment; Oracle HCM experience is preferred.
- Experience with data visualization tools.
- SQL experience Preferred
- Advanced analytical skills (i.e., ability to synthesize complex data but explain it simply).
- Knowledge of interfaces/high-level system architecture.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables), Word, and PowerPoint

Job Summary:
Under general direction, this position is responsible for providing basic to intermediate analysis and documentation of business and management problems for systems and programming requirements. Assists in providing solutions to problems by utilizing more efficient operational procedures, workflow, and information technology solutions.
Job Duties:

Perform assessments on operations as a functional application expert and provide system optimization recommendations within ERP requirements.

Manage business requirements gathering for functionality development and interface definition from vendor systems to the HR ERP applications, including PeopleSoft HCM, Taleo Recruit, and Taleo LEARN.

Provide maintenance and troubleshooting support to PeopleSoft HCM users as needed. Require an understanding of PeopleSoft HCM data and how it can be used to solve business user needs.

Provide functional support and problem resolution related to Taleo Learn and Taleo Recruit. Review, analyze, and troubleshoot user issues and resolve complex problems.

Perform programming, troubleshooting, queries, and reporting utilizing SQL.

Proactively find ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of HR workflow, including requirements gathering, design, and testing of workflow automation solutions

Develop user documentation and departmental policies and procedures that would impact the use of application systems.

Assist in the design and development of ad hoc reports and queries, when necessary

Support and troubleshoot other HR information systems as needed.

Defines and analyzes problems; develops and verifies solutions; reviews applications or programs for logical sequence and errors.

Focuses on components of a system rather than the whole system/application, proactively partners with customers to understand and meet their needs

Participates as a team member.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
-
HRIS and Talent Acquisition systems (PeopleSoft HCM preferred, Taleo Recruit)
-
Extensive SQL background
Salary Range:
Actual salary commensurate with experience.
Work Schedule:
Partial remote to be determined by the department. Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and as needed on occasion.
