Responsible for the administration of the UTMB Health Leave Policies and Procedures, inclusive of Family Medical Leave, Military Leave, Leave of Absence, in coordination with Workers Compensation and the Sick Leave Pool, and Institutional ADA.
**Job Duties:**
+ Serves as the subject matter expert for managers and employees regarding the FMLA rules and regulations, State of Texas Leave, and the UTMB Family Medical Leave Process.
+ Reviews, makes a determination of eligibility, and tracks all UTMB employee Family Medical Leave and Military Leave requests in an accurate and timely manner.
+ Documents leave requests in the electronic record system and communicates eligibility for Leave Benefits with the employee and employer. Creates the eligible employee leave case in the UTMB Health time capture system.
+ Coordinates the Sick Leave Pool application process in accordance with Texas Statute and the UTMB Health Process. Provides the documentation from the health care provider to the qualified medical reviewer(s) and communicates with the employee regarding the decision.
+ Preserves all documentation regarding leave in the electronic system according to the UTMB Health document retention schedule.
+ Provides training sessions to UTMB Managers throughout the State regarding the UTMB Health medical and military leave process (minimal travel may be required).

We are seeking a strategic and curious **Senior Manager of People Analytics & Insights** to transform our HR analytics function from dashboard delivery to true people analytics. This role will drive the elevation of our data capabilities, creating deeper insights into teammate, team, and workforce behavior, performance, and engagement. As the leader of our People Analytics & Insights team, you'll be detail-oriented and conscientious, analytical, and curious. You'll be focused on solving our future work initiatives, taking a multifaceted approach looking across structural factors, team sentiment and career metrics and organizational outcomes. **Your Impact**
+ Lead the evolution of HR analytics from operational reporting (Power BI dashboards) to strategic people analytics that drive organizational insight and targeted talent interventions.

**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Data Science, Economics, or related field.
+ 7+ years of experience in HR analytics, people analytics, or workforce strategy.
+ Background in behavioral science or organizational psychology.
+ Proficiency in Power BI (DAX, M), SQL, and statistical tools (e.g., R, Python, SPSS).
+ Strong understanding of HR systems (e.g., SuccessFactors, Workday, ADP) and data structures.
+ Experience translating complex data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
+ Excellent communication, collaboration, and change leadership skills.
+ Experience identifying improvements in processes and enhancing the efficiency of reporting functionality and delivery.

**Overall Job Summary**
This position is part of the Analytics, Insights & AI team within HR and plays a key role in delivering insights that influence decision-making, strategy, and workforce outcomes. The Sr. Analyst will partner closely with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and other stakeholders to analyze workforce trends, develop predictive models, and deliver storytelling that drives business value. This role supports CHRO-level scorecards, key HR KPIs, and targeted AI use cases that improve HR process efficiency and impact.

+ Partner with COEs, HRBPs, and business leaders to understand challenges, diagnose patterns, and deliver high-impact insights.
+ Design and build dashboards, scorecards, and reports that surface key people metrics across the enterprise.
