**Job Summary**
The HSE Coordinator is responsible for acting as the front-line safety professional conducting safety inspections, observations, claims, investigations, training, and regulatory compliance for OSHA, DOT, and EPA. This position supports the field team and works with personnel across various departments.
Responsibilities
+ Provide advice and counseling about regulatory compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations, laws, codes, standards and related company requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards.
• Develop and implement corrective action plans to mitigate risks.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
• Manage and maintain all EHS-related documentation, permits, and records.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement preventative measures.
• Develop and update emergency preparedness and response plans.
• Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
• Conduct internal EHS audits and prepare reports.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies as needed.
• Manage waste disposal and environmental protection programs.
• Stay current with EHS legislation and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety management.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing EHS programs in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant EHS regulations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in risk assessment and hazard analysis techniques.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis.
