**Responsibilities**
Akima's Environmental Health and Safety Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the organization's safety programs.

**Qualifications**
+ 20+ years of progressive experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental leadership roles.
+ Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide HSE programs across diverse operating environments.
+ Experience in building and motivating a HSE team that will drive injury and incident reduction, cost savings, and culture transformation to promote safe and healthy work environments.
+ Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOE, and other relevant regulatory standards and reporting requirements.
+ Experience working in mission-critical environments such as defense, energy, or infrastructure is highly valued.
+ Ability to travel as required.
+ US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

JOB DESIGNATION
The Health, Safety & Environment Specialist 3 provides expertise in the development, implementation and management of effective Safety, Health and Environment programs/systems. Routinely analyzes hazardous situations and identifies alternative courses of action.
JOB CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the development, documentation, improvement, and audit of site environmental, health and safety systems to assure conformance and effectiveness.
- Determine plant environmental, safety, and health requirements and analyze for compatibility with corporate practices.
- Provides expertise in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Health, Safety and Environmental programs/procedures
- Performs audits and safety inspections of work environments, processes, and operations in compliance with government regulations and industry standards
- Ensures all applicable registrations, permits, and licenses are in place and current;
- Lead activities in support of Kaizen, Safety Star Point Teams (Safety Committee), Emergency Response Teams, and other project teams.
- Participates in developing and implementing training programs for employees
- Gathers data for the purpose of identifying, reducing, or eliminating sources of pollutants and/or hazards that affect the work environment and health of the employees
- Ensure that best practices, incidents, near misses, etc., are communicated between facilities following established guidelines.
- Assist with regulatory-required environmental reporting, including hazardous/residual waste, air emissions, wastewater, and others
- Working knowledge of industry safety, OSHA, EPA, and other state-specific agency regulations and environmental system standards and their application to an industrial environment.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor's Degree is REQUIRED (preferred in Environmental, Health, and Safety)

Required Skills:
- Professionally recognized safety or environmental certification (ASP, GSP, CSP, CIH, CHMM).
- RCRA Hazardous Waste Management training in accordance with 40 CFR 262.34.

The HSEQ Manager (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) will play a critical role within Princeton NuEnergys newly established and rapidly growing manufacturing team at our Chester, South Carolina facility. The QEHS Manager will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, coordination, and maintenance of all Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety policies, programs, procedures, training, work practices, and safety controls. WHAT WILL YOU BE WORKING ON?

- Bachelors degree in Quality Engineering, Safety, Chemistry, or a related technical field
- Preferably 8+ years of hands-on experience in the chemical or material manufacturing industry

**AECOM** is seeking **Safety, Health & Environment Specialist** to support various project sites located within the NYC Metropolitan area. The Safety, Health & Environment Specialist will support Construction Management teams working on projects at wastewater recovery facilities.
Under the supervision of the project Safety, Health and Environment Manager the responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Assist in implementing the requirements of AECOM's Construction Manager's (CM) EHS Management Plan (EHSMP) and Environmental Health and Safety Plan (EHASP)
+ Support the CM in preparation of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) in accordance with Client standards.
+ Support the CM in conducting various training for CM staff including new employee orientations, visitor orientations and Emergency Action Plan training.
+ Assist in the technical review of all EHS related submittals by the Contractors, including, but not limited to, EHASPs, JHAs, monthly reports, asbestos/lead/mercury/PCB management and sampling plans, waste management plans, soil re-use, hazardous waste contingency plans, erosion and sediment control plans, and Stormwater Pollution Prevent Plans (SWPPP) to verify comprehensive oversight of all site activities.
+ Facilitate weekly EHS meetings with the Contractor's EHS Representative (EHSR), and other project management personnel as appropriate, to ascertain and discuss upcoming construction related activity EHS activities.
+ Conduct frequent construction site visits.
+ Track and monitor the Contractor's compliance with EHASP(s) and JHA(s)
+ Track and monitor all site EHSRs' performance including, but not limited to, reviewing the EHSR's daily reports and whether EHS issues are being adequately addressed.
+ Perform and submit daily reports of the Contractors' Work areas and document non-compliance with the Contractor's EHASPs and JHAs.
+ Review Contractor's incident reports for adequacy, participate in meetings related to construction related incidents, and verify all necessary Contractor corrective actions are implemented.
+ Submit EHS monthly status reports and metrics. Prepare monthly trending analysis of Contractor EHS performance.
+ Oversee Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) and drills for the site in coordination with Client staff.
+ Review and manage all EHS Annual Reports (i.e., EPCRA, Hazardous Waste, Confined Space)

**Job Description**
**AECOM** is seeking Safety, Health & Environmental Manager for an onsite position based in Staten Island, NY.
**The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:**
+ Ensure the implementation of AECOM's Construction Manager's (CM) EHS Management Plan (EHSMP) and Environmental Health and Safety Plan (EHASP).
+ Supervise and actively manage onsite CM EHS staff.
+ Establish a collaborative relationship with the client's Operation team to facilitate the management of SH&E aspects of Construction activities.
+ Support the CM in preparation of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) in accordance with Client standards.
+ Support the CM in conducting various training for CM staff including new employee orientations, visitor orientations and Emergency Action Plan training.
+ Review all EHS related submittals by the Contractors, including, but not limited to, EHASPs, JHAs, monthly reports, asbestos/lead/mercury/PCB management and sampling plans, waste management plans, soil re-use, hazardous waste contingency plans, erosion and sediment control plans, and Stormwater Pollution Prevent Plans (SWPPP) to verify comprehensive oversight of all site activities.
+ Facilitate weekly EHS meetings with the Contractor's EHS Representative (EHSR), and other project management personnel as appropriate, to ascertain and discuss upcoming construction related activity EHS activities.
+ Conduct frequent construction site visits.
+ Track and monitor the Contractor's compliance with EHASP(s) and JHA(s).
+ Track and monitor all site EHSRs' performance including, but not limited to, reviewing the EHSR's daily reports and whether EHS issues are being adequately addressed.
+ Perform and submit daily reports of the Contractors' Work areas and document non-compliance with the Contractor's EHASPs and JHAs.
+ Review Contractor's incident reports for adequacy, participate in meetings related to construction related incidents, and verify all necessary Contractor corrective actions are implemented.
+ Oversee submission of EHS monthly status reports and metrics. Prepare monthly trending analysis of Contractor EHS performance.
+ Oversee Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) and drills for the site in coordination with Client staff.
+ Review and manage all EHS Annual Reports (i.e., EPCRA, Hazardous Waste, Confined Space).
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications** :
+ BA/BS + 8 years of exp or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
+ A bachelor's degree in the field of Safety or Engineering
+ 2+ years of personnel management experience
+ OSHA 10-hour Construction Health and Safety Course (30-hour Preferable)
+ Initial and Annual Refresher OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120/1926.65 HAZWOPER
+ NYSDEC 4-hr Erosion and Sediment Control Training
+ Knowledgeable in OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and 1910 Regulations
+ Knowledgeable in use of eBuilder

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $150,000.00 - $80,000.00.

**Summary**
The **Field Safety Manager** promotes the Company's IIF culture by ensuring every co-worker returns home safety every night. Is expected to spend a minimum of 90% of time in the field observing and coaching co-workers and Field Safety Representatives on correction of unsafe conditions and behaviors.
