+ Will provide support to the HR department.
+ Learn all departments and dynamics of Human Resourcesincluding: Hiring, On-Boarding, Orientation, EEOC, Recruitment, Community Relations, Investigations, Training & Development, Technical Training, Talent Development, Payroll, Policy Enforcement, etc.
+ Develop programs which would potentially focus on recruitment, retention, recognition,policy enforcement, etc.
+ Interact and understand the relationship/partnership with the Local Union

+ Understand absenteeism and turnover metrics: how they are measured and why they are of importance
+ Understanding Staffing and Crewing, including Available to Standard

+ Be exposed to Performance Management, including: evaluations, promotions, merit, etc.

+ Participate in three group-based Leadership Development Training sessions at our corporate U.S. Headquarters in Greeley, CO.
+ Final Placement: the last 4 months of the program will provide hands-on training in an area of interest with the intention of final placement into a leadership role.

OBXtek has an immediate need for a number of highly qualified Senior Human Resources Management Specialists to support our new U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power (SDA&CP) and Battle Management Command, Control and Communications (BMC3) Support Services contract (Hemisphere) in the El Segundo, CA area.
Travel is not anticipated but would occur less than five percent of the time on an occasional and irregular basis and be limited to domestic locations only.
ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking Subject Matter Expert (SME)-level and Senior-level Human Resource Management Specialists that must have:
- Experience performing civilian and military personnel management and administrative operations support activities
- Specific experience in the areas of:
- Civilian Human Resource Management
- Military & Civilian Manpower Management
- Information Management/Operations Support
- Specific experience performing Human Resource Management services in the Government (Military or Civil Service), Federally-Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC), or profit/non-profit Government support/development contractor arenas
- Experience providing support for Executive Officer duties

QualificationsRequired:
