The Principal Solutions Architect in Humana Military will lead future technology strategy and support model for the Veterans Administration (VA) Community Care Network (CCN) contract and responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing complex IT solutions that support the VA's mission to provide high-quality healthcare services to veterans. • Ensure all solutions comply with policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the reliability and security of IT solutions.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural designs, implementation plans, and project progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar are desirable.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

• Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale IT solutions within the healthcare sector, preferably with government agencies.

• Strong understanding of healthcare IT standards, interoperability, and compliance requirements.

• Expertise in cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture frameworks.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

The Principal Solutions Architect in Humana Military will lead future technology strategy and support model for the Veterans Administration (VA) Community Care Network (CCN) contract and responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing complex IT solutions that support the VA's mission to provide high-quality healthcare services to veterans. This role involves close collaboration with business partners, stakeholders, business development team, including VA officials, healthcare providers, and internal teams, to ensure that the solutions meet the strategic and operational needs of the CCN program.

The Principal Solutions Architect translates business needs into technical systems solutions. Integrates hardware, software and network interfaces to form a system. Works with senior executives to develop and drive segment or enterprise-wide functional strategies. Advises one or more areas, programs or functions and provides recommendations to senior executives on matters of significance, and as an advanced subject matter expert competent to work at very high levels in multiple knowledge and functional areas across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design and Architecture

• Develop technology strategy and roadmaps

• Lead the design and architecture of comprehensive IT solutions tailored to the VA CCN program.
