Sell, design, and coordinate residential installations for the company.
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Operate with a high level of customer service
+ Provide design details (including load calculations, installation layouts and designs) for installations
+ Obtain signed contracts
+ Order all equipment and materials necessary to complete the customer's order
+ Be familiar with local mechanical, electrical and plumbing codes
+ Arrange for all permits, sub-contractors and equipment rentals
+ Produce installation job package for installation supervisor, mechanic and warehouse personnel
+ Schedule installation date with homeowner while confirmation of opening on schedule
+ Handle all financial aspects of sales including, down and final payments, rebates, incentives, financing, etc.

As an HVAC Sales Consultant, you will be based in Rifle, CO, serving customers throughout the Roaring Fork Valley, from Aspen to Rifle. You’ll:
Communicate directly with customers in a friendly, professional manner
Attend job walks, define project scopes, and prepare accurate pricing
Create detailed proposals and present them confidently to clients
Use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and learn new software tools as needed
Keep project files and communications organized and up-to-date
Collaborate with coworkers and clients to ensure project success

Respectful, honest, and team-oriented attitude
No licenses or certifications required

Perform Manual J and D calculations, ensure compliance with codes, and submit rebate/warranty information
Collaborate with office, warehouse, and installation teams to ensure smooth handoff of sold jobs
Participate in networking events and company training sessions

Minimum 5 years of proven field sales experience
Valid driver’s license
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with computers (Excel experience preferred)

Ability to perform Manual J and Manual D calculations
