We're looking for a high-energy, HVAC Engineer to focus on our Data Center market. Join us, and you'll impact our success by delivering innovative HVAC design solutions for our Data Center clients. You will work alongside our team of engineers and designers performing field investigations, interfacing with clients & vendors, sizing and selecting equipment, and preparing construction design packages.
You'll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks as you gain familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You'll work with a multi-discipline, highly interactive team to establish a process design basis, develop an optimized process, create calculations, and generate process drawings. Your role keeps our company connected, and we'll support you with what you need to be successful.
Highlights of your contributions will include:
* Layout and design of HVAC systems for various types of clients, including electric vehicles, data centers, and heavy industrial facilities.
* Development of the design criteria for the HVAC systems. These HVAC systems would include general comfort heating and cooling, those with accurate temperature or humidity control, unique pressurization requirements, and/or cleanliness requirements for clean room applications.
* Development of conceptual design and preliminary design documents, which would include calculations related to sizing and selecting these systems, the development of Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements.
* Layout of Ductwork systems based on a Process and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID).
* Development of final design documents including specification, sequences of operation, piping layout, and final construction documents associated with these systems. These systems would include chilled water, cooling water, etc.
* Coordination with other disciplines.

* At least three (3) years' experience in the design of HVAC systems.
* Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of HVAC systems.
* Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Adaptability to work within a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
* Ability to follow lead a building mechanical team on a project and to collaborate with other discipline team members remotely.
Ideally, You'll Also Have:
* Professional Engineering License.
* Software experience in Revit, AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D.
* Experience in the design of plumbing/utility systems.

Role Summary:
- Identify and manage the risks to the client through the equipment on site, including identifying critical spares, improving performance of plant and equipment, managing the environment conditions on site through the BMS system and running all plant and equipment efficiently, improving and implementing the preventative maintenance program.
- Using new equipment and technologies to maintain a working and comfortable environment liaising with the client on any requests for certain reactive and PPM tasks.
- Fault finding on all types of HVAC plant and equipment with a bias to the maintenance of Variable Refrigerant Volume air conditioning systems. Working with refrigerant and having the necessary qualifications in the handling of F-Gas.
- Support others in the team in relation to Health and Safety
- Perform the role or Energy Champion and assist in the role of Safety Champion for the site.
- Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise to the Maintenance team.
- Write and follow Risk Assessments and be available to question any issues which arise from them safely and accurately.
- Completion of the required documentation as specified with the requirements of all rules and legislation.
- Use Mobile Devices to accurately project and complete any works from the CAFM Maintenance System.
- Use of emailing / calendars to plan your daily work requirements so that all tasks are completed effortlessly and efficiently.
- Liaise with onsite Supervisor and Account Manager to manage any Building Services related issues, responding confidently and accurately as required.
- To be the responsible person when required for the team and deputise for the site supervisor during annual leave or sickness where required.

About The Role:
As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- To undertake maintenance duties as required, making sure all reports are accurately completed within specific time frames.
- To produce accurate documentation as required and keep up-to-date records of statutory inspections.
- Undertake minor quoted works from the initial outset, through installation to completion as required whilst completing all required test certification.
- Ensuring all employees are aware of their obligations under the Health & Safety policy.
What are we looking for?
- Prerequisite - NVQ or City & Guilds in the following: HVAC Engineer.
- Experience working within Facilities Management / Building Services.
- Good team member with excellent communications skills with all levels of the workforce.

About the Role:
As a CBRE Mobile Engineer, you will be responsible for preventive maintenance and corrective repairs for buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You'll Do:

Oversee maintenance and repairs to the mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems for the facility to keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned.

Review assigned work orders, estimate time and materials needed to complete the repair and maintain inventory of adequate supplies and tools.

Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life; oversee repairs and emergency maintenance as needed.

Review inspections of building and industrial systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure the operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by the client.

Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
