This position is pivotal in minimizing downtime and supporting our manufacturing operations' overall productivity and efficiency.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Operate and maintain the AHU systems, BMS and EMS systems. Daily operating the equipment, monitoring and recording the same, any trouble shoots are to be done with the equipment and its distribution. Monitor HVAC systems to detect malfunctions and necessary maintenance.
+ Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspection and maintenance. Coordinate with the team to implement repairs and improvements
+ Adhere to all environmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal regulations. Train and mentor junior staff on above utility equipment.
+ Coordinate with the maintenance team to implement repairs and improvements. Follow good manufacturing practices as per pharmaceutical industry requirement, get trained in all the SOP and follow the same.
+ Operation and maintenance of Chillers, Air Compressor, LN2 system, Hot water, Boiler system, Industrial water, City water system and respective distribution systems.
+ Knowledge and experience in cGMP and FDA 21 CFR parts 210 and 211, Need to work on different shifts to operate the utility run 24*7. Perform preventive maintenance for the equipment and able to identify all the spares required and maintain the spares at site
+ Monitor HVAC systems to detect malfunctions and necessary maintenance. perform routine inspection and maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation and record maintain daily logs on HVAC operations, maintenance, and safety activities
+ Knowledge of clean room classification, AHU zoning, pressure balancing and other operations related to AHU and its area of supply
+ Prepare the SOP / EOP for the system and follow good documentation practices, cross train in all facilities and engineering departments as needed, and any other duties as assigned by Supervisor
+ Operate, maintain, Control, monitor and trouble shoot all electrical supplies from SMUD to different equipment. Make sure the area is clean and maintain the area with proper status. Able to raise and give technical data for any deviations and change control.
+ Operate and maintain the Electrical distribution panel, UPS and supply of power to different equipment's. Daily operating the equipment's, monitoring and recording the same.
+ Operation and Maintenance of RO system, PW generation, WFI generation, PS generation and respective storage and distribution systems, regular monitoring and recording of different equipment
+ Coordinate with the maintenance team to implement repairs and improvements.

+ Perform all plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s)
+ Maintain heating equipment, chillers (air and/ or water cooled), DX units, pumps, cooling towers, fan coil units, VAV, and air distribution systems, etc.
+ Monitor and adjust all mechanical/pneumatic equipment, steam stations, control gauges, distributor panels, valves, thermostats, diffusers, and other equipment necessary to provide a comfortable environment for the buildings
+ Verify field conditions and perform any necessary repairs or adjustments
+ Perform preventive maintenance duties in accordance with C&W standards, building protocol, manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices. including changing filters, cleaning coils, flushing condensers, punching tubes, greasing fan, pump and motor bearings as required, inspecting and adjusting belts, replacing motor bearings, aligning pulleys and shafts, monitor condenser, chilled, heating and secondary water chemical treatment and its associated feed equipment, clean and maintain cooling towers, and perform annual inspections and other scheduled routines as directed.

+ Perform minor electrical and pipefitting repairs to HVAC systems.

**What you will do**

+ Focus year's 1 and 2 will be to partner with the Capital Project Delivery and Site Operations team providing technical support associated with the start-up, commissioning, and qualification of the wide variety of equipment and systems used in Manufacturing, Laboratories, Utilities, and other areas at the site.
+ Support development, writing and implementation of the Maintenance program documentation including Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Change Control (CCMS), Non-Conformance (NC), Work Orders (WO), Job Plans (JP), Hazard Risk Assessments (HRA), Job Hazard Assessments (JHA), etc.
+ Ensure safety of all staff during plant construction and start-up operations and maintenance activities.
**During construction phase:**
+ Performing intermediate installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, testing and documentation/logs of HVAC and utility equipment including HVAC systems, cold rooms and other environmental control units.
+ Performing operations, maintenance and repair activities on utility equipment and systems providing utilities serving Manufacturing, Lab, and various operations across the ANC site:

+ Maintenance activities include inspections, testing, minor/major equipment overhauls, pump rebuild/replacements, valve rebuild/replacements, HVAC troubleshooting/repair, HEPA filter certification, Piping modification/repair, etc.
+ Additional responsibilities include overseeing maintenance service providers and equipment vendors.
+ Completing quality and safety documentation and completing the work in a safe, compliant, and timely manner according to planning and predefined schedules with minimal impact to production while aligning with GMPs, SOPs and Amgen policies and regulations.
+ Work in a highly productive and efficient manner to maximize the quantity of activities completed with focus on maintenance excellence.
+ Ensure work is appropriately communicated to system operators and key stakeholders.
+ Ensure work order documentation is completed accurately.
+ Reviewing and technically approving maintenance reports, forms, plans and records.
+ Identify waste, work-flow interrupters, and other opportunities for improvement, recommend solutions, and assist with implementation.
+ Identify opportunities to learn new skills and actively participate in development that will improve overall team performance.
+ Represent the Utilities Maintenance team in discussions and meetings with management, peers and other site functions.
+ Provide facility and manufacturing support as needed with on-call rotation - this may be outside of normal working hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

**Basic Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma / GED and 4 years of HVAC Operations or Maintenance experience OR
+ 2 years in a technical school setting with hands-on experience OR
+ Associate's degree and 2 years of HVAC Operations or Maintenance experience
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ 4+ years of combined education, training, and experience in HVAC utility operations and mechanical maintenance with an emphasis on facility and plant HVAC equipment and systems.
+ 2+ years knowledge of HVAC operations and systems and ability to effectively perform associated maintenance activities.
+ Demonstrated knowledge of HEPA testing and certification
+ EPA 608 Certification
+ Demonstrated knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and controls.
+ Demonstrated refrigeration and DX cooling experience
+ Working knowledge of local and national building code requirements.
+ Knowledge and experience working in a highly regulated function - cGMP.
+ Experience executing and documenting maintenance work orders in a computerized maintenance management system.
+ Ability to interpret mechanical drawings.
+ Ability to work with minimum direction.
+ Ability to effectively communicate issues and status of tasks in a timely manner.
+ Ability to interact constructively with peers/teams.
