**The Role**
The selected candidate will perform repairs and preventive maintenance on a variety of commercial HVAC systems. This will include 5 to 200 ton refrigerant units, centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, and chill water systems. Candidate should have CFC Universal Certification or equivalent with training for properly handling of refrigerant within guidelines established by EPA. Candidate should be experienced in maintenance and troubleshooting of various HVAC systems and the proficient use of test equipment; should be able to read and comprehend schematics.
**Must Have**
1 year or more Industrial HVAC experience. Must be able to work assigned shift as production needs
**Nice to Have**
Technical training or certificate a plus. Knowledge of troubleshooting commercial equipment. High school graduate or equivalent preferred

SUMMARY
Perform maintenance, diagnostic testing, overhauling, installation, and repairs on a large variety of extremely sophisticated refrigeration, dehumidification, air-conditioning, ventilation, and heating systems equipment. The systems serve critically controlled environmental installations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Research specifications as provided by other parties and make installation corrections required to ensure proper function of equipment as required by tenant agency requirements.

Perform HVAC service calls and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.

Perform equipment repairs including carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical tasks through use of varied types of test equipment such as voltmeters, amprobes, psychrometers, capacitor analyzer, temperature testers, leak detectors, micrometer, CO2 testers, vacuum gauges, and megohmmeters.

Communicate service details with customers and supervisors.

Enter job scope and time into computer and complete repair paperwork.

Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
