Description:
The HVAC Systems Engineer will be integral to a fast-paced development environment for centrifugal compressor equipment and chiller systems. These systems are primarily applied in industrial / stationary applications for comfort cooling and data centers. The job is an interesting hybrid of requirements definition, controls specification, programming, and system troubleshooting. Daily interactions range from customer, senior management, internal engineers, and laboratory technicians.
**Required education, experiences & skills:**
+ Bachelors of Science in Electrical or Controls Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial may also be considered)
+ Experience with system level design or/or system requirements specification development of component application
**Preferred education, experiences & skills:**
+ Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
+ Application requirements/specification definition
+ it's desirable that the candidate will have either design or install-base support experience in the following areas:
+ HVACR and/or Chiller Type Systems
+ Industrial Controls (Industrial Automation)
+ Modeling in LabView, Python or similar
+ Control programing of PLCs, SCADA systems, or similar
+ This is not a position for which sponsorship will be provided. Individuals with temporary visas such as E, F-1 with OPT or CPT, H-1, H-2, L-1, B, J or TN, or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire.
**Onsite Work Arrangement:**
This role is onsite focused with some remote work allowance. Estimated 15% travel for onsite customer support.
