POSITION SUMMARY

The successful candidate will lead a team of analysts in the setup, payment, tracking, and reporting of financial and rebate guarantees in accordance with Express Script's PBM client contracts. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be vital to meeting deadlines and expectations of position. Additionally, this individual will assist in the department strategic planning and development of the team to ensure that production targets are achieved and, effective controls are in place.The role will work and present to all levels of ESI Management. Special projects as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Manage a team of business analysts who are responsible for reviewing, analyzing and evaluating complex contractual documents and identifying/tracking guarantee obligations including financial and rebate guarantees.
• Communicate with other teams and business partners at all levels to ensure guarantee processes are on track, accurate and timely.
• Participate in developing process improvements and system/reporting enhancements.
• Ensure that any other potential liabilities in the contract are identified so monitoring can be maintained and responsibility assigned. Act as back-up for monthly guarantee accrual preparation and reporting, and in other areas of the team.
• Participate/lead special projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of experience preferred, 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office (Excel and Access), the Internet and data querying.
• Proven ability to take a leadership role.
• Control oriented and strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrate initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Self-starter with experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service, technical, analytical, problem solving and communication skills required.
• Candidates must be local to the St. Louis, MO area.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be vital to meeting deadlines and expectations of position. Additionally, this individual will assist in the department strategic planning and development of team to ensure that production targets are achieved and effective processing controls are in place. From time-to-time this individual may also be asked to participate in special projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Manage a team of analysts in addressing service request from the Account Team and other business partners related to ESI clients' Performance Guarantees.
• Assist with reviews of set-ups, payments, reporting during peak periods to ensure accurate and timely payments for several large clients.
• Assistance with day-to-day prioritization and strategic planning.
• Special projects and process improvements.
• Team/Employee development.
• On-going review of controls.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree required (preferably in business, accounting or finance).
• 5 + years relevant experience.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel, some experience with MS Access preferred.
• Problem solving and creative thinking capabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of the healthcare and PBM industry a plus.
• Experience working with cross functional departments to research and resolve issues.
• Demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage a heavy workload.

The PBS Operations Business Product Owner (BPO) is the primary liaison between business sponsors, clients, and technology teams, driving high ROI/efficiency initiatives across the division and enterprise. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of projects from end to end for new and modified business applications and products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the main point of contact for Technical Product Owners (TPO) on business applications, products, or client requests.
• Help develop and implement business/technical requirements from concept to launch and oversee projects.
• Influence technical design decisions and provide technical support.
• Work with business sponsors, TPO, and System Engineering teams to define business requirements for new and updated applications, products, or client requests.
• Stay current with new technical tools and methods to support business needs in the digital BPO space.
• Use Express Scripts project tools and methodologies to drive business applications, products, or client requests.
• Attend key meetings, ceremonies, and release planning to ensure successful adoption through training or documentation.
• Regularly communicate progress and updates to stakeholders.
• Prioritize and manage workload to meet project deadlines.

Key Qualifications:

• A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with program management or as a product owner preferred.
• Knowledge of agile methodology.
• Proficiency in Jira.
• Strong business, technical, and financial acumen.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent communication (oral and written), facilitation, presentation, and organization skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and organizational capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well in an ambiguous environment.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 94,400 - 157,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
