- Measure, cut, and bend pipes/tubes to required length using hand/power tools.
- Assemble hydraulic systems with various connection methods.
- Install piping/tubing systems with proper alignment, bend radius, and support structures.
- Test and inspect installed systems, addressing defects or issues.
- Upgrade and repair to existing systems, fix leaks and replace damaged components.
- Collaborate with construction professionals for seamless system integration.
- Adhere to safety standards, use PPE, and follow site safety guidelines.

EDUCATION:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Trade School or other certifications.
- Completion of a pipe/tube fitting apprenticeship program or equivalent on-the-job training.
- Pipe/Tube Bending: Min of 1 year (Required), 2 years (Preferred).
- Hydraulic Plumbing Fabrication and Installation: Min of 1 year (Required), 2 years (Preferred).
- In-Field Service and Installation: 1 year (Preferred).
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong mathematical and measurement skills.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee typically is on their feet and moving around an industrial work area during the majority of the day with some time spent traveling to and from the customer work site. The work is physically demanding at times requiring heavy lifting and working in tight quarters. Physical tasks include walking, grasping, carrying, lifting, assembling, listening, writing, speaking, and traveling.
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
While performing the duties of this job, frequent exposure to one or more unpleasant environmental conditions (noise, cold, heat, dust, etc.) or hazardous conditions requiring additional safety precautions. Work occasionally requires a high level of physical exertion in challenging situations that may include working under time constraints. Occasional out-of-town and state travel will be required.
TRANSPORTATION:
Service vehicles are NOT provided for this position. Technician will be required to commute to and from the Houston office.

Morbark's Hydraulic Engineer position works as part of the Electrical & Hydraulic Engineering team, ensuring that machine hydraulic systems meet or exceed applicable standards and requirements for the target customers and markets. They Hydraulic Engineer will work with the rest of the engineering team to design, develop and validate new and modified hydraulic systems on current production machines and equipment under development. The Hydraulic Engineer, as part of the Product Engineering Team, will ensure that the Hydraulic Systems on all new and modified products meet all requirements and standards.

+ Own the Hydraulic System design and ensure that the hydraulics comply with regulations, standards and machine performance goals. Develop specifications to meet goals, design systems and specify components.
+ Recommend and make improvements to current Hydraulic Systems.
+ Collaborate with colleagues in the design process. Collaborate with other departments to develop a best in class quality product.
+ Identify Hydraulic System related training opportunities and help develop training needed to improve the overall organizations development.
+ Maintain awareness of vendor products offered, tools, processes and technologies in support of new product development.
+ Create reports for management outlining current project status or current issues.
+ Maintain a record of system changes as required.
+ Contribute to systems related troubleshooting and problem solving.

**Position Purpose:**
Hydraulic Modeler will be responsible to develop, operate and maintain the hydraulic models within the Engineering Department. Incumbent will coordinate with the corporate master planning department to assist in the development and updating of master plans for the Business Units in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Work will generally be focused on updating models, running operational scenarios, suggesting operational improvements, and documenting models and results. It is expected that engineering resources will be shared and the candidate may work on other engineering projects as assigned.

SOL Engineering Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Hydrologist with a strong background in FEMA Public Assistance (PA) projects to join our team. This position involves managing and overseeing hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, floodplain mapping, and risk assessments for disaster response and recovery projects. The Senior Hydrologist will work closely with cross-functional teams, FEMA representatives, and local agencies to ensure compliance with FEMA regulations and the successful delivery of project objectives.
