  • Be familiar with the complete lifecycle of an AI model.
  • Have a deep understanding and management of the fundamentals of artificial intelligence, both of classical models (random forest, XGBoost), as well as advanced models of deep learning and knowledge of generative AI.
  • Valuable experience in the processing and analysis of data, both structured and unstructured, being able to perform data queries and ingests, as well as its treatment, exploitation, and transformation.

Technical skills:

  • High level of programming in Python (clean code, documentation, and efficiency in the programming of procedures).
  • SQL
  • Experience working in cloud environments and using their capabilities (GCP, AWS, Azure).
  • Efficient handling of ML libraries such as Scikit-learn, Tensorflow / Pytorch / Keras.
  • Highly valued handling of Docker.
  • Highly valued knowledge of the Palantir Foundry platform.
  • Understanding of social coding and integrated development environments, for example, GitHub and Visual Studio.

Dr. Riaz is an Assistant professor in medicine and biomedical informatics. His lab is focused on developing artificial intelligence (AI) methods for electronic medical records data. The current projects heavily emphasize natural language processing (NLP), large language models (LLMs), multi-modal data integration, and computation oncology.
This position (candidate) may engage in following projects:
