**A Day in the Life**
Medtronic's Integrated circuits design team in Tempe, Arizona, is seeking a Sr. Digital Design Engineer-With academic or professional background in low power IC design solutions. The ideal candidate can leverage his/her skills and experience to enhance and optimize ASICs to deliver superior performance and enable Medtronic's lifesaving therapies' advancement.

As a member of this IC Design Team, the **Senior Digital Design Engineer** will be involved in all phases of product development, including definition, design for testability, verification planning /Execution, system integration, characterization, and failure analysis under a heavily regulated quality and regulatory standard operating procedures. You will be an important part of an experienced product development team whose goal is to deliver the highest quality integrated circuits for use in live saving medical devices.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
+ RTL design from taking product specification to defining architecture, and block level implementation.
+ Interact with Place and Route, Static Timing Analysis team to drive best implementation for floor planning, clock tree design, timing closure, and low power.
+ Support verification for coverage improvement and design debug.
+ Support IC test and hybrid test development through working closely with test teams.
+ Interact and influence product engineering, test engineering, research and FW teams as part of the product development process.
+ Designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates electronic parts, components or digital integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, or other hardware systems.
+ Determines design approaches and parameters.
+ Analyzes ICs using lab equipment to verify functionality and operating range, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results.
+ Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
+ May also review vendor capability to support product development.

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The annual base salary range for this position is $108,000 - $172,800

**Job Description:**
Broadcom is searching for a DFT IC Design Engineer to join the Data Center Solutions Group at our site in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This position involves working with the latest technology to continue driving next generation Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning ecosystems through our PCIe Switch Products - and managing mega datacenters, while leading world class performance, through our Enterprise Storage Products. More specifically, this position will require in-depth knowledge and expertise towards DFT related aspects of silicon.
**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:**
+ Execution of DFT implementation, verification, and debug
+ Working with BISR, BIST, MBIST, SCAN, ATE, ATPG
+ Hierarchical DFT Flow and Methodology Development
+ Collaborating with IC Design RTL Engineers and Physical Design Engineers
+ Must work in person at our Colorado Springs site: no remote work allowed.
**Required attributes:**
+ Proficiency in Siemens Tessent Tool
+ Full DFT design cycle experience in RTL/Netlist
