*Summary:*
The Imaging Informatics Administrator III provides specialized technical support and administration for mission-critical clinical systems that directly enable patient diagnosis and treatment across all facilities. The role ensures healthcare providers can deliver timely, accurate care by maintaining 24/7 system availability, optimal performance, and regulatory compliance of medical imaging and treatment technologies.
*Responsibilities:*
1. Monitor and maintain clinical systems to ensure optimal performance, availability, and reliability across all healthcare facilities on a 24/7 basis.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with hardware, software, networks, and applications, escalating complex problems to appropriate resources when necessary.
3. Coordinate and implement system updates, upgrades, and patches, ensuring all changes are tested thoroughly and do not negatively impact clinical operations.
4. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including technical specifications, standard operating procedures, system configurations, and workflow processes.
5. Provide technical support and training to clinical end users, ensuring they can effectively utilize systems for patient care delivery.
6. Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external partners for system implementations, maintenance, and issue resolution.
7. Participate in on-call rotation providing 24/7 emergency support to ensure continuous system availability for critical patient care operations.
8. Develop and execute project plans for system implementations and enhancements, including timelines, resource allocation, and cost estimates.
9. Ensure system security, data integrity, and regulatory compliance according to healthcare standards, HIPAA requirements, and organizational policies.
10. Perform proactive system monitoring and optimization, generating performance reports and implementing improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
11. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure technology aligns with clinical workflows and organizational objectives.

Years of Experience:Minimum 5+ years with CIIP or 6+ years without CIIP required.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Analyzes, designs, tests, debugs, integrates, implements, trains, maintains and supports systems such as Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), as well as other systems used by the imaging departments. Works closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of customer's business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates. Establishes and maintains a professional relationship with internal and external customers so that information technology needs are appropriately addressed. Works with internal and external customers to analyze system needs, translates identified needs into functional and technical specifications, and develops technology solutions to resolve application process challenges/problems. Supports the coordination and integration of imaging department systems with the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Frequently acts as a mentor, team leader or project manager and oversees the work tasks of others.
PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

4. *Leads efforts to work with other IT resources to develop monitoring techniques and downtime processes to keep interfaces and systems in sync with other systems within the organization.

7. *Maintains integrity of the system databases by overseeing and performing daily support activities.
8. *Leads coordination of vendor activities in all phases of system installation, implementation and upgrades as related to PACS and other imaging department systems. Develops implementation timeframes and coordinates all other imaging department systems with vendor and IT support.
9. *Develops processes to monitor system hardware, software and performance characteristics and pro-actively addresses issues including storage space, system performance, archiving, back-up and recovery, involving other IT resources as needed.
10. *Oversees development and execution of routine and specialized administrative reports; utilizes interface capacity to design and generate custom reports; creates graphics and flow charts to communicate report results as appropriate.
11. *Develops and approves training materials and delivers training sessions for departmental staff and physicians on imaging department systems; engages in problem solving and acts as resource for user questions and requests; serves as a subject matter expert for issues and as a conduit for aligning resources and activities related to the imaging department systems.
12. *Consults on departmental policies and procedures related to system processes and usage; reviews policies and procedures for compliance with standards for PACS and other imaging department systems.
13. *Keeps abreast of emerging technologies and their impact on imaging department; leads efforts to work with other IT and imaging department personnel to keep all informed.
14. *Provides direction to imaging department and other departments related to medical imaging initiatives and procedures and assists with existing or new medical imaging endeavors.
15. *Completes integrations, software enhancements, hardware upgrades, testing, and conversions for PACS and other imaging department systems; coordinates with imaging department personnel, other IT resources and vendors as needed. Manages hardware and software installation, training, testing, and systems acceptance.
16. *Oversees review of feedback from system users and compiles and analyzes support data; provides direction on procedural changes and staff education as appropriate.
17. *Investigates, identifies and prepares proposals to solve specific problems related to PACS and other imaging department systems by working closely with other IT resources, imaging department leadership, staff, vendors and affected physicians.
18. *Leads management of vendor and operational customer relationships including scoping of application services and review of deliverables; strategically plans for imaging department needs and develops and maintains roadmaps with vendors and customers. Obtains approval and signoff on scope and deliverables from customer.
19. *Demonstrates fiscal responsibility by anticipating upgrades, maintenance requirements and inventory budget; works with imaging department leadership and IT Manager to coordinate strategic planning related to PACS and other imaging department systems, and to identify potential budgetary impact and costs.
20. *Identifies and communicates barriers to timely completion of projects; makes suggestions for solutions including technology incompatibilities, problematic working relationships, budget constraints and education deficiencies.
21. *Works to design a Quality Assurance (QA) program for PACS equipment and processes, and oversees the implementation of the QA plan.
22. *Trains, leads and provides guidance to other roles in all areas of IT processes, knowledge and skills, including but not limited to, time tracking and change management.
23. *Participates in an On Point rotation with other co-workers as needed to provide consistent and timely support to internal and external customers.
24. *Provides timely updates to stakeholders regarding system enhancement requests and break-fix issues.
25. Reviews purchases and invoices related to PACS and other imaging department systems; communicates discrepancies to IT Manager.
26. Enters restricted access areas, without supervision, to perform assigned work.

+ Willingness to travel to support customer engagements, trade shows, and product demonstrations.

+ RFI / RFP / RFQ generation and submission experience.

Position Overview
We are currently seeking a motivated person comfortable with science and skilled at product
management to join Axions Product Management Team, based in Atlanta, GA.
As Product Manager for Impedance and Imaging Systems, you will guide product development and commercialization of Axions impedance assay systems and live-cell imaging systems. This is a
central role that works cross-functionally with all global teams within the company. You will work
with marketing to define go-to-market strategies, product positioning, key benefits, and target
customers. You will work with engineering counterparts to define the products technical
requirements. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for the product
offerings, working with the sales channel and key customers. Applicants should be comfortable
taking on additional roles within a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the impedance and imaging product life cycles
Work with Sales and Marketing to define product go-to-market plans
Train the Axion Sales Team and Distributors on new Axion products and product
features/applications
Support the Sales Team by serving as product expert for Axions impedance and imaging
products
Conduct market research, visit customers and attend conferences to discover unmet scientific
needs and scout for new applications and technologies relevant to Axions portfolio
Make formal presentations and conduct group discussions on products for a broad range of
scientific, technical, and business customer audiences
Write white papers, application notes, leaflets, slides, and video material etc. on new products
and applications as well as customer success stories with Axions products
Analyze potential partner relationships for these products, and define objectives, benefits, and
costs of such collaborations
Maintain knowledge of competitive products and technologies
Identify and analyze the possible impact of competitive/3rd party products and make recommendations for company responses in terms of messaging and/or feature development as needed.
Review feedback from the field and customer demonstrations to inform product development and marketing
Identify and prioritize the development of new features that will broaden the application of Axion impedance and imaging technology and establish them as the premium impedance and imaging platforms
Define the scope and user requirements of new features for product development teams
Maintain product collateral for impedance and imaging product lines
Skills and Qualifications
BS, MS, or PhD in cell biology, molecular biology, biomedical engineering or a related science
3+ years of experience in product management or related role in the life science tools industry
Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams without formal authority through influence and relationships
Ability to take complex technical concepts and translate the data into easy to understand and digestible information for global marketing and sales organizations
Strong organizational skills
Ability to manage time well across multiple projects in parallel
Ability to work efficiently under pressures and within deadlines
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
Ability to travel up to 20% of time globally, so a valid passport is a must
Fluent in written and spoken English

The pay range for this position in AL, CO, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, ND, OH, OR, PA, TX, VT, VA, WI, or WY is $87,750 to $140,400.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
