Operate a scanner to obtain images used to diagnose and treat of pathologies.
- Prepare and position patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce
cross-sectional images of the body. - Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to the examination.
- Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images from disk to magnetic media to produce the transparency, and develop film in an automatic processor.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
- Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
- Ensure equipment is properly functioning.
- Report potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required:
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

**Iron Mountain Media and Archival Services is seeking an Imaging Technician with direct industry experience in handling and processing fragile documents and manuscripts, large formats, photographic formats, obsolete images and 2D assets. This role will take direction from the Premium Archival Services team and work closely with the imaging and project management team to process and digitize a collection for a specific client. The role requires a fundamental understanding of image file formats and the tools used for manipulation/conversions of assets into digital files.**
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.**
+ **Point of contact for imaging information exchange with clients and internal teams.**
+ **Image asset migration (digitization), restoration, remediation and reformat in the digital studio space**
**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS.**
+ **Familiarity with photographic media formats including, but not limited to: negatives, positives, transparencies, glass plates, slides, and posters**
+ **Familiarity with manuscripts and documents including larger formats, brittle materials and friable media**
+ **Working knowledge of multiple Digital Workstations (DW) platforms (MAC/PC) including but not limited to: PhotoShop, PhotoMechanic, Adobe Acrobat, FileMaker and LightRoom**
+ **Familiarity with rich media archive organization, inventory and tracking**
