The Role
This role requires a high level of expertise in hospitality and project management, especially in operations, training, and brand standards, as well as the capability to oversee multiple large-scale projects and collaborate with diverse teams.
Training & Operational Support:
- Act as a corporate resource for hotel openings, focusing on training and supporting hotels in Food and Beverage,
Rooms, Brand Standards, Quality Assurance, Brand Programs, and Operational Efficiencies.
- Deliver on-site training for hotels that require operational improvements, as directed by the Regional VPs of Operations, VP of Openings & Transitions, and the Director of Openings & Transitions.
Pre-opening & Conversion Management:
- Host and manage pre-opening, transition, and de-flag calls for all assigned hotels.
- Liaise with property RVPs, document call details, and distribute notes for follow-up. Upload all relevant documentation to
Pacer.
HyBar Meeting Preparation:
- Host virtual HyBar training for assigned openings, collaborating with design services, project services, engineering, and
operations to ensure the hotel opening is on track and identify adjustments as necessary.
Scheduling and Conference Calls:
- Schedule and conduct conference calls with hotels and vendors to review Food and Beverage Brand Approved
- Products, training schedules, and operational progress during the pre-opening phase.
Training & Mentorship:
- Develop training schedules tailored to each hotel opening and arrange discussion calls with hotels to confirm their readiness.
- Guide hotels in implementing Brand Programs, F&B updates, and in managing relationships with approved vendors and brand-approved products.
- Monitor the critical path toolkit for the hotel opening, communicate with hotels to ensure milestones are being met, and adjust plans when necessary.
Collaboration with Stakeholders:
- Collaborate closely with the hotel's executive team, management companies, owners, Project Services, IT, Vendors, and on-site Project Management during the hotel opening week to ensure everything is running smoothly.
Updating Hyatt's Systems & Resources:
- Update and edit content on HyattConnect and Pacer, ensuring all departmental resources are current and easily accessible to relevant teams.
- Work closely with Operations leads to update F&B guides, recipes, setups, equipment, and food training materials.

- Willingness to travel on short notice: This role requires a strong degree of flexibility with travel arrangements, especially if hotel opening dates change unexpectedly. You should be ready to modify travel plans at short notice to ensure that all hotel openings receive timely support.
- Work during holidays: Given the nature of hotel openings, you may need to be available during holidays, working when needed to support the team and ensure the hotel is ready for its opening.
- Consecutive days away from home: The role requires the ability to spend 8-9 consecutive nights or more away from home while on assignment. This could involve being on-site for extended periods, providing on-the-ground support during crucial stages of hotel openings.
- Handling diverse audiences: You will work with a wide range of individuals, including hotel staff, vendors, executives, and operations teams. Effectively communicating and engaging with people from various backgrounds and differing levels of expertise will be crucial for success.
- Quick-thinking and problem-solving: Traveling and training in different environments will require the ability to think on your feet, especially when challenges arise unexpectedly. Whether it's a logistical issue or a staffing challenge, you'll need to be adaptable and quick to find solutions. Being proactive in identifying potential issues before they arise and creating effective solutions under time constraints.
- Managing setbacks: The hotel opening process can present unforeseen obstacles, such as delays in permits, staffing shortages, or last-minute operational challenges. It's crucial to remain calm, stay focused, and develop a plan to address any setbacks that may occur. The ability to adapt and troubleshoot on-site will be vital to keeping the opening on schedule.
Qualifications
Experience Required:
- 4+ years minimum in position of Department Head, Assistant Director of Operations, Assistant General Manager, or
- General Manager (Full-Service Hotel experience preferred).
- Hotel Opening Experience in either Assistant Director of Operations, Department Head, or General Manager Role.
- 4+ years' hands-on experience in Food and Beverage and Rooms operations.
- Applicants must possess fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking
- clients and colleagues.

- Alcohol Awareness Training or equivalent
- Training Certification (Train the Trainer)
Experience Preferred:
- 4-year College Degree or Equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of Hyatt PMS, POS (Simphony and Infrasys), HotSOS, BOB/HyGEO, and other hotel systems
- Proven training experience, including one-on-one or group training, and hands-on experience in hotel or classroom
- environments.

The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $115,000. This position is also eligible to earn incentive awards and an annual bonus. The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the minimum local wage rate.

Job DescriptionUlbrich’s manufacturing divisions in North Haven and Wallingford, CT have immediate openings for skilled individuals in our slitting, annealing, rolling mill and shaped wire operations. In these positions you will assist in the set-up and operation of heavy, sophisticated equipment.
QualificationsTurkshead Operator
Primary duties include setting up and operating shaped wire equipment, Turkshead machines. Required to produce various sizes, shapes, gauges and complex dimensions as well as round and special shapes. Responsibilities include the quality of the product on all operations handled, following applicable ISO procedures, operator preventative maintenance, maintaining equipment and work area to the required safety and operational standards at Ulbrich Shaped Wire. Regular use of a forklift, hand truck, and overhead cranes. Participate in various team activities. Must be able to read a micrometer and other measuring tools in addition to being able to complete math calculations. Considerable physical effort is required.
Wire Mill Operator
Primary duties include setting up and operating wire mill. Required to produce various sizes, shapes, gauges and complex dimensions as well as round and special shapes. Responsibilities include the quality of the product on all operations handled, following applicable ISO procedures, operator preventative maintenance, maintaining equipment and work area to the required safety and operational standards at Ulbrich Shaped Wire. Annealer
Set-up, operate and adjust electric and/or gas fired vertical and horizontal strip annealing furnaces. Must have the ability to use electric shears to cut strip, hoists, micrometers and other measuring instruments. Mental and visual attention required in checking for variations and defects on the materials. Use of decimals and fractions required. Moderate physical demand, must demonstrate safe work practices. Must be available to work any shift.
Utility Helper
Perform a variety of duties to assist the Rolling Mill Operator or the Slitter Operator in the setup, operation, and break down of a rolling mill or slitting equipment. Follow defined Quality operational instructions, to ensure materials are processed in a manner that will meet or exceed customer expectations. Position requires the performance of duties within very close proximity to moving cutting equipment and requires extreme caution and strict adherence to related safety standards. The MRI Technologist uses magnetic resonance imaging scanners and related equipment to capture specific images ordered by a physician to aid in patient diagnosis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Performs MRI examinations of the brain, body, spine and extremities on patients of all ages effectively adjusting scanning parameters for different patient body habitus. Selects and modifies technical factors to enhance images; uses flare and SAT imaging techniques
+ Determines appropriate equipment for scanning up to but not limited to body coils
+ Must be able to closely follow a physician's instructions, prepares and operates MRI equipment, position patients correctly and effectively record the requested diagnostic images
+ Identifies gross pathology in the human body and adjusts T1 and T2 scanning parameters to provide pertinent information for interpretation.
+ Performs Diffusion studies, MR Angiograms, reformats and MIP imaging
+ Uses magnetic resonance and adjusts parameters to minimize exposure to patient and self
+ Follows established protocols and uses scanning techniques to include, window and contrast levels, scanning time sequences, scanning delays, scanning thickness, FOV, scout images, reformatting, images reconstruct and 3-D image reconstruct.
+ Photographs, archives and retrieves images
+ Performs quality control for procedures and equipment. Documents systems failures and variances in the appropriate logbook and arranges for service when necessary
+ Certified to start and remove IV lines for contrast studies per established departmental policy and procedure. Identifies and responds to IV contrast reactions up to and including calling emergency personnel
+ Proficient in the use of an IV Contrast Power Injector
+ Identifies each patient, reviews each patient's requisition and previous studies for consistency
+ (examination ordered/clinical diagnosis), and records pertinent data on MRI requisition at all times
+ Responsible for performing comprehensive screening of patients and other individuals before allowing them to enter the MR system room
+ Reviews each examination for technical accuracy, presents completed examination to radiologist, and communicates pertinent data to persons responsible for the care of the patient following the procedure
+ Identifies anatomical orientation on all required images and ensures proper film identification on all images
+ Adheres to all Amergis and worksite rules, policies and procedures
+ Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
+ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in the radiology field
+ Registered with the ARRT; if required by state regulations or contract specification.
+ One (1) one year of experience in related field preferred
+ Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
+ Participation and completion of Amergis' Competency program when applicable
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

+ Monitors and documents each intervention during the endoscopy procedure
+ Demonstrates safety and accuracy in the administration, monitoring and documentation of all treatments, medications, and IV therapies
+ Provides a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for the patient
+ Responds immediately and appropriately to emergencies or acute changes in patient status
+ Provides Pathologist and other medical team members with accurate and complete information regarding specimen collection
+ Adheres to and applies all principles of infection control during endoscopic procedures, with the disinfection and sterilization of equipment, use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and disposing of biomedical/hazardous waste
+ Ensures appropriate care, maintenance and safe handling of scopes at all times
+ Applies cautery-grounding pad appropriately
+ Adheres to facility guidelines in use of gluteraldehyde/Steris
+ Assures Endoscopy Department Discharge Criteria are met before discharging patient
+ Ensures the discharge process provides continuing care based on the assessed needs of the patient and communicates explicit time/action discharge instructions using simple terminology
+ Effectively communicates and collaborates with other members of the health care team and patient's family when appropriate to address patient's needs and generate safe patient outcomes
