JOB DESCRIPTION
Brockwell Technologies, Inc. (BTI) is seeking an Independent Verification & Validation Analyst (IV&V) communicative candidate to stand up a new IV&V effort within their Software Mission Assurance contract with the U.S. Army.
This candidate will leverage both technical expertise and strong organizational skills to collaborate with both Government and Contractor teammates to establish standard operating procedures, workflows, and processes in addition to conducting IV&V analyses throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Responsibilities
- Perform IV&V analyses and assessments of software requirements, documentation, design, code, and test products to provide an independent review of the quality and reliability of the software and evaluate compliance to the required contractual policies and standards.
- Perform software requirements analysis on High Level Requirements (HLR) for sub-systems.
- Review requirements traceability table and verify traceability of requirements.
- Provide technical expertise in data/requirements analyzed through verification and validation process. Must be knowledgeable of requirements and data used for analysis.
- Provide technical know-how on products, operating systems, and specialized environments required for IV&V analysis.
- Compile, edit, and present data and results of analyses to project shareholders.
- Analyze team processes/procedures and execute improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following minimum qualifications listed below:
- Must have ability and knowledge to perform evaluations of various software related products and covers assessments of software products through all phases of the development life cycle, including requirements, software specifications, design verification, coding, testing, and results data validation.
- Must be familiar with reviewing and analyzing test data and performing requirements traceability, as well as reviewing and developing software test plans and reports.
- Experience with Software Change Request (SCR) process and issue tracking system(s).
- Organizational and collaboration expertise.
- Exercise strong written and oral communication skills, and multi-task with strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methodology.
- Experience with Cameo software as a MBSE solution/tool.

Quality Assurance Technician On Mid Shift (1pm - 9:30pm)

Job Description
The QA Technician ensures that the plant complies with food regulatory requirements and reports any deficiencies or practices that could compromise food safety, quality, and defense.
Responsibilities
-
Monitor production conditions, specifications, process controls, and tracking controls.

Maintain wash line concentrations.

Verify checks on existing production control forms and audit them to meet all program requirements.

Collect environmental swabs, air sampling dishes, and lab retain samples.

Monitor all CCPs on-line and take corrective actions to assist in determining root causes and developing preventative action plans.

Check pH levels, temperature, and brix of each batch of juice produced to ensure they are within product specifications.

Document Facility Operation Inspections & Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Perform Standard Sanitation Operational Procedures (SSOPs) verification and ATP swabs.

Track non-conforming products and their dispositions.

Conduct Pre-Operational inspection procedures of all production/bottling equipment and facility.

Perform equipment calibrations and necessary adjustments.
-
Assist with testing food products to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

Conduct inventory checks of ATP swabs, charts, forms, etc.
-
Ensure volumes, torques, and bottle weights are within product specifications.

Complete and enter all pallet tags and CCP forms for production and bottling into the database.

Record cycles and verify that all HPP settings and information are correct.

Adhere to SOP, SSOP, GMP, and HACCP guidelines when in the plant.

Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oceanside, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.50/hr.

What's the Job?
- Set up test equipment according to documented procedures and manage instrument test parameters.
- Conduct various tests on parts, including break tests and tensile tests, while exporting data into a database.
- Perform dimensional, functional, performance, and visual inspections during the Production Part Approval Process.
- Adhere to company procedures, rules, and policies while attending required training sessions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, communicate effectively with personnel across departments, and keep accurate records.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or Equivalent; a 2-year Technical Degree in Quality or a related field is desired.
- Experience with force gauges, test fixtures, and inspection equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and CAD models.
- Strong computer skills with experience in MS Office and Google Suite.
- Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, lifting, and twisting.
