Job Description:
The Individuals/Foundations Group provides accounting, tax compliance and planning, legal, trust administration, business management, financial management, treasury, insurance, and technology services to the enterprises of two wealthy families, including business entities, trusts, individuals and foundations. The Manager position reports to the Group Leader and works well with all of the other professional service providers.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Management of quarterly Financial Statements and custom reports for all Individual, S Corporation and Foundation enterprises.
- Review and manage annual Fair Market Value Balance Sheet project.
- Manage annual tax return process for Individuals, Partnerships, S-Corporations and Foundations.
- Review tax projections and quarterly estimates.
- Identify and research tax issues, consult with internal tax experts.
- Review and reconcile journal entries and general ledger for multiple individuals, LLC's, partnerships, S-Corporations and foundations.
- Review insurance policies, claims and schedules for individuals, personal entities and foundations.
- Mentor and develop staff accountants within Individual/Foundation Group.
- Identify future needs of the family office accounting function and recommend appropriate plans/actions.
- Lead and manage special projects, as needed.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 7-10 years' of public accounting or similar family office experience with emphasis on individuals, partnerships, trusts and not-for-profit entities.
- Relevant undergraduate degree required.
- CPA preferred.

Located in SKIL Parsons KS Office

Summary

Assist individuals in accessing services through the Home and Community Based IDD Waiver. Advocate for individuals on the IDD waiver and arrange for the best available services in conjunction with a Person Centered Support Plan and the Independent Living Philosophy. Work collaboratively with the area Community Developmental Disability Organization, the individual served, the individual's support network and other service providers to act as the conduit for services.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Annually assess the individual's needs and determine the individual's preferred lifestyle, current and potential strengths and the resources available, through both formal and informal evaluation methods.
  2. Provide support planning including the development, reviewing and updating of the individual's Person Centered Plan. This is inclusive to arranging and coordinating planning meetings with participation of the individual's support network and other participants of the individual's choice.
  3. Provide support coordination through the arranging for and securing supports and services defined in the Person Centered Support Plan.
  4. Advocate for the individual on both an individual and systems level. This will be provided through either acting on behalf of the individual and through their direction or supporting the individual to act on their own behalf in various situations that pertain to securing and maintaining services and achieving maximum independence.
  5. Assist in the transition of the individual when the individual moves from school to the adult "world"; from an institution to the community; from one kind of service to another kind of service setting; from one provider to another provider; or from one service area to another service area.
  6. Provide quality assurance of services rendered through consistently visiting with the individual and conferring with the involved service providers as needed to assure appropriate and sufficient services are being provided to meet the needs, preferences and goals of the individual in conjunction with the Person Centered Support Plan of Care.
  7. Providing services in individuals' homes and community necessitates that travel is required in performing job tasks.
  8. Maintain all documentation as essential to the IDD Targeted Case Management position and submit the documentation as required.
    Demonstrate proficiency in performing duties in accordance with the Developmental Disabilities Regulations.
Job Requirements
  1. A minimum of six months experience in the field of developmental disabilities services
  2. A Bachelor's degree or additional experience in the field, which may be substituted for the degree at the rate of six months of experience for each semester.
  3. Valid Driver's License

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $82,000 to $35,200. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is 98,500 to 153,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
