**Position Summary**
Starting Pay: Based on experience
Scheduled - Monday-Friday
Hours - 6:30am-2:30pm
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Perform a variety of duties to maintain facility's forklift trucks and related equipment. Troubleshoot malfunctions to equipment and perform needed repairs with minimum downtime, using various hand and power tools, measuring instruments, diagrams and manuals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Repair, rebuild and maintain a variety of manual and powered lift equipment.
· Troubleshoot operational problems to equipment, determining malfunction's likely source by visual and audio inspection, test driving, conferring with operator, using various testing instruments, referring to factory manuals or outside service representative for assistance.
· Repair, rebuild or replace motors, armatures, transmissions, hydraulic pumps, etc. using various hand and power tools.
· Troubleshoot malfunctions to fork trucks on wire guidance system.
· Perform welding repairs to structural and interior components of equipment as needed.
· Test drive repaired equipment to ensure safe and proper operating performance before releasing to operator.
· Maintain and perform minor repairs to batteries. Charge batteries and conduct periodic tests to ensure sufficient energy flow.
· Perform preventative maintenance to equipment using established checklist.
· Coordinate ordering of parts with Manager/Lead Technician. Maintain daily log of equipment repairs and maintenance.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS
· Perform other duties as requested by Manager or Lead Technician when necessary.
Required Qualifications :
· Three (3) years previous experience with proven ability to independently repair and troubleshoot a variety of forklift equipment
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
· Ability to be trained and licensed to operate a forklift.
· Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
· Ability to work with minimal supervision.
· Frequent bending/reaching/stooping, constant walking/standing/climbing
· Ability to respond to emergencies anytime day or night.
· Ability to work overtime as required.
· Lifting: Frequent medium heavy, occasional medium heavy
Preferred Qualifications :
3+ years of experience in a maintenance role in warehouse and distribution environment
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$18.50 - $38.82
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

Qualifications
- Three or more years proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment li>Prior experience with high and low pressure compressors, chillers, water treatment, boilers is preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of compressed air systems (pneumatics), electrical systems, hydraulics and water processing is preferred
- Knowledge of bottling equipment, PM programs and SAP system preferred
- Successfully demonstrates strong mechanical abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with all employees.
- Must have electrical knowledge of single and three phase power including the ability to diagnose and replace electric motors
