**Job Summary**
The Plant Maintenance Technician is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the operation of all plant systems and equipment. Including but not limited to balers, conveyor belts, gearboxes, electrical motors, pulleys, shafts and bearings. This position must respond to all system failures by taking appropriate corrective action by completing or assigning the repairs needed to ensure that systems are operational and are functioning safely and efficiently. This position generally reports to the Plant Maintenance Manager.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
Performs repairs in accordance with WM Safety and Life Critical Rules and OSHA. (Occupational and Safety Health Act) requirements.
Performs preventive maintenance inspection (PM); diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment/components including but not limited to balers, conveyors, hydraulic power packs, eddy currents, electro-magnetic belts, optical sorters, diverters, compressors, trash compactors, motors, glass breakers, wire tie systems, fans, pumps, forklifts, front-end loaders and building equipment.
Maintains DEI (Daily Equipment Inspections) backlog.
Establishes and adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules and advises Sr. Plant Maintenance Manager if additional work is needed, or cannot be completed within the Standard Repair Times (SRTs).
Inspects the quality of third party repairs and or rebuilds.
Recommends measures to improve production, equipment performance and product quality
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns.
Ability to perform under limited supervision.
Requires a flexible work schedule, which may include nights and weekends to support operating schedule and the needs of the facility.
Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards, and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

Under direction of facility leadership, the Maintenance Technician Lead performs all maintenance functions, including but not limited to preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on all buildings and grounds and all plant machinery and equipment.

+ Various Pumps and related components.
+ Hydraulic systems including hoses, valves, and cylinders.
+ pH control and chemical injection
+ Fire tube boiler and ancillary equipment, steam delivery systems, water softeners and other water treatment equipment, air handling equipment, commercial washers, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and conveyor systems.
+ Electrical generator systems.
+ General air pneumatics, including air compressor, regulators, solenoid valves, 2-way and 3-way valve, tubing installation, pneumatic pumps, and related systems.
+ General plumbing including but not limited to hard piping, CPVC/PVC, copper, black pipe.
+ Performs light electrical maintenance on all plant equipment to include 480V/ 240V/ 120V/ 24V powers systems. PLC, robotics troubleshooting and 4 to 20 milliamp control loop systems.
+ Light to heavy fabrication, demonstrating proficient welding (arc/mig/tig); acetylene torch; plasma cutting; grinding cuttings skills.
+ Assists Facility/Maintenance Manager by performing general work or other assignments necessary to ensure a safe, clean, healthy, and efficient facility and vigorously support Stericycle's commitment to Safety.
+ Documents results through completed work orders or in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) based on schedule and priority or as required.

**What you'll be doing as a Maintenance Technician:**
+ Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive and corrective maintenance requirement
+ Equipment and tools include motors, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, coupling and motor alignment, roller chain/sprockets alignment, conveyor systems, and production machines
+ Troubleshoots malfunctions and complies with machine standards on wiring and installation
+ Being able to use a multimeter is highly recommended
+ Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; and using precision measuring tools
+ Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, hand and power tools
+ Welding skills are recommended
+ Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments
+ Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, and alignment equipment
+ Optimizes maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
+ Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

**Job requirements:**
+ Ability to follow and read diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications
+ Ability to use electrical testing equipment (multimeter, etc.)
+ Ability to perform preventive maintenance on all equipment and physical structure as needed
+ Ability to dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts
+ Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment

There is an urgent need for PM Technicians, Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians, and PLC Programmers that can interview and start work immediately. This is a contact-to-hire opportunity with weekly pay, overtime, and benefits while on contract.
**Job Overview:**
+ Job title: Maintenance Technician (PM Tech, Multi-Craft Maintenance, and PLC Programmer) - based on experience/skillset
+ Shift: 12 hour shifts (3/2/2 schedule) day and night shifts available
+ Pay Rate: $31-$6/hr (based on shift/position)
+ Manufacturing environment in a food & beverage facility (non-climate controlled with high temperatures in oven areas)
+ PLC Programmers will:
+ Design and develop PLC programs using languages like Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function Block Diagrams
+ Collaborate with engineers and clients to understand automation requirements
+ Create and interpret electrical schematics and control system diagrams
+ Install, test, and troubleshoot PLC software on industrial equipment
+ Maintain and update existing PLC systems to improve performance
+ Integrate PLCs with HMI (Human Machine Interface) and SCADA systems
+ PM Techs and Multi-Craft Maintenance technicians will:
+ Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on manufacturing machinery including industrial ovens, mixers, slicers, conveyors, weighing machines, and packaging machines.
+ Adhere to preventative maintenance schedule and document work orders and repairs.
+ Troubleshooting of conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, motors, gear boxes, and sensors.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in PLC programming platforms (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi)
+ Strong understanding of industrial automation and control systems
+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
+ Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP)
+ Experience performing preventative maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
+ Experience working within a food and beverage manufacturing facility is a plus.
+ Experience working on motors, conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, gear boxes, and sensors.

With supervision, the Fleet Technician I is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all Mobile Storage rental fleet equipment, including containers, ground level offices, office trailers, and/or modular buildings. It is the responsibility of the Fleet Technician I to perform all cleaning and maintenance tasks in a safe manner in accordance with company standards. The Fleet Technician I must also be capable of effectively performing all duties of an Equipment Associate.
**What you'll do:**
+ Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Mobile Storage quality standards:
+ Ability to perform basic maintenance and repairs, including but not limited to, remove and repair flooring, tiles, roofs, walls, frames, doors, leaks, caulking, windows, screens, painting, filters/dampers, replacing skins and trim, tagging of equipment, removal/install of UR decals and equipment numbers
+ Hooking mobile office to power source
+ Checking tire pressure and lugs
+ Complete assignments on time and within budget
+ Complete assignments as documented on Work Orders
+ Complete necessary documentation (work order, etc.)
+ Travel to customer sites to set office trailers and assist CDL A Drivers when needed
+ Equipment Modifications:
+ Complete in accordance with manufacturer's specifications and state and local building codes
+ Complete in accordance with approved specifications

+ Organization and Cleanliness of Shop, Yard, Tools and Supplies :
+ Follow Mobile Storage and United Rentals 5S guidelines

+ Keep yard organized and free of debris
+ Advise supervisor of supply needs
+ Inbound and outbound equipment inspections and processing; follow Rental Flow procedures

+ Safely install and/or uninstall VAPs according to reservation requirements
**Requirements:**
+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ Active applicable state class driver's license
