The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment such as motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, production machines, boilers, pumps, packaging equipment, material handling equipment, bulk delivery equipment, and blending/mixing systems. This position will primarily focus on the utilities and manufacturing equipment side of maintenance.
Apprentice Mechanic level - 25hr
Mechanic level 1 -28hr
Mechanic level 2 - 31hr
Mechanic 3 - 33-47hr
**Responsibilities**
+ Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment.
+ Maintain mechanical and electrical systems including motors, conveyor systems, and pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
+ Ensure the proper functioning of production machines, boilers, pumps, and packaging equipment.
+ Handle maintenance of material handling equipment, bulk delivery equipment, and blending/mixing systems.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in electrical work, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
+ Experience with pneumatics, mechanical pumps, and conveyors.
+ Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including 120-480 volt and PLC troubleshooting.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in industrial maintenance.

Qualifications
**Qualifications:**
Three or more years proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Prior experience with high and low pressure compressors, chillers, water treatment, boilers is preferred
Strong technical knowledge of compressed air systems (pneumatics), electrical systems, hydraulics and water processing is preferred
Knowledge of bottling equipment, PM programs and SAP system preferred
Successfully demonstrates strong mechanical abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with all employees.
Must have electrical knowledge of single and three phase power including the ability to diagnose and replace electric motors
Must be able to work and accomplish projects with little to zero supervision
Must be able to foster and build a team-work environment
Communicate effectively with various support groups, supervisors, and team members

**Position Summary:**
We're hiring a hands-on Commercial/Industrial Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair building systems and production/support equipment across commercial facilities and light/medium industrial sites in the Austin metro. You'll work on pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, compressors, boilers (low‑pressure/hydronic), pneumatics/hydraulics, and related controls. The ideal candidate pairs strong mechanical fundamentals with safe work habits, solid documentation, and customer-friendly communication.
**Responsibilities:**
**Maintenance & Repairs**
+ Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on rotating equipment (pumps, fans, blowers, gearboxes), compressors, conveyors, elevations/lifts, and.
+ Perform preventive and predictive maintenance: lubrication, alignments, belt/chain drives, bearings, seals, vibration/temperature checks, filter changes, and PM documentation in CMMS.
+ Vacuum/pneumatic systems, and low-pressure boilers.
+ Execute basic electrical/mechatronic tasks tied to mechanical work (VFD checks, sensors/actuators, safeties, interlocks) and interface with BAS/PLC techs as needed.

**Minimum Qualifications**
+ 3+ years as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, Building/Facilities Mechanic, or equivalent military/trade experience.
+ Proficient with mechanical diagnostics (vibration/noise/temperature), shaft alignment, precision measuring, rigging basics, and reading mechanical drawings/P&IDs.
+ Demonstrated LOTO use and safe work execution on energized/mechanical systems.
+ Valid driver's license; ability to pass background check and drug screen; ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work from lifts/roofs in Texas weather.
**Required/Conditional Certifications (based on assigned work)**
+ **Boilers:** Sites operating boilers must maintain a **TDLR Certificate of Operation** ; experience with low-pressure boiler operations/maintenance is a plus.
**Preferred**
+ 5-8+ years progressive experience; journeyman-level troubleshooting on boilers, air compressors, pumps, motors, and general mechanical equipment.
+ Experience with VFDs, alignment tools, laser alignment, vibration analysis, and basic PLC/HMI.
+ OSHA‑10/30, aerial lift/forklift, NCCER Millwright, rigging/signalperson, brazing/welding (GTAW/SMAW) are pluses.
**Work Environment & Travel**
+ Exposure to mechanical rooms/rooftops/production areas; work from ladders/lifts and outdoors as needed.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Industrial Mechanic to join our team in Tupelo!
Under limited supervision, this position is responsible for servicing, modifying, rebuilding, and repairing industrial mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and HVAC equipment in accordance with applicable codes, technical documentation, and safety regulations. Performs periodic inspections to identify potential equipment issues and prevent breakdowns. Troubleshoots electrical, hydraulic, and HVAC systems. Interprets and works from schematics. Sets and adjusts controls. Overhauls equipment as needed.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:**
+ Troubleshoots and repairs industrial machinery, including conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, motors, hydraulic presses, and HVAC equipment.
+ Reads and applies electrical and hydraulic schematics to perform diagnostics and repairs.
+ Installs, maintains, and repairs hydraulic and pneumatic systems including valves, cylinders, hoses, and pumps.
+ Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains electrical systems including motors, sensors, relays, and control panels.
+ Performs periodic inspections and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
+ Performs minor fabrication and welding tasks in support of maintenance and repair activities.
+ Assists with the installation or modification of equipment and supporting infrastructure.
+ Completes maintenance documentation and equipment service records as required.
+ Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
+ May perform facility utility maintenance such as compressed air, water, or process plumbing systems.

**Job Qualifications:**
+ Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent, military class 'C' school or Military Occupation Specialty (MOS), and five or more years of progressive experience as an apprentice plumber or HVAC mechanic. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
