**Job Description:**
At Regions, the Credit Products Diversified Industries Associate supports Credit Products Diversified Industries Managers in identifying and mitigating risks in existing and proposed credit products. As a member of the First Line of Defense, the individual will analyze new commercial credit opportunities, underwrite new or renewed credit exposure, and manage a portfolio of loans and other credit relationships in conjunction with a manager.
**Primary Responsibilities**
+ Prepares credit approval packages on new and renewed credit products including determination of the appropriate risk rating as well as risk factors that could change the risk rating, analysis of financial performance, performance vs. projections, covenant compliance, relationship profitability (RAROC), and any other significant risk drivers
+ Analyzes guarantors as needed to support credit underwriting
+ Assists Credit Products Diversified Industries Managers with the review of pre-closing loan documents and closing due diligence
+ Manages financial reporting requirements, covenant requirements, past dues and documentation exceptions
+ Ensures credit files are complete with all up to date information
+ Provides tickler implementation and maintenance
+ Monitors portfolio and servicing activities in conjunction with Credit Products support
+ Validates the appropriate risk rating for a company and proactively identifies risk rating changes
+ Identifies opportunities for exposure reduction or new opportunities within assigned portfolio
+ Participates in research, preparation and execution of customer and prospect calls
+ Participates in identifying financial solutions that meet the client's needs and the Bank's risk acceptance criteria
+ Ensures compliance with internal bank commercial loan policy, credit risk management policy, and external regulatory requirements; documents any exceptions to policy and related rationale/mitigants
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
**Requirements**
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
+ Two (2) years underwriting experience or financial services analysis and accounting experience
+ Completion of a major corporate credit training program (or the equivalent corporate banking/corporate finance experience)

+ Ability to competently complete credit packages and credit services agreements with management oversight
+ Ability to identify and voice issues; self-initiates discussion
+ Ability to perform quality analysis and display competency in completion and oversight of client portfolio management activities

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Basic Qualifications

+ Exhibit skill at negotiation and the development of loan structuring options, with Capital Markets for multi-bank transactions, and be skilled in managing large credit exposures and complex credit situations.
+ Maintain the effective license to operate by sustaining a high level of trust and confidence by senior line and risk management.
+ Possess meaningful, relevant experience with Mid-Corporate sized companies and a demonstrated ability to up-tier relationships to Left Lead and Joint Lead Arranger.
+ Strong experience at a highly advanced level of credit, documentation, proposal, and negotiations both internally and externally.
+ Strong understanding of credit and covenant structures and documenting loans.
+ Possess superior practical and conceptual knowledge of credit and risk analysis.

We work together with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Our team provides assistance through a collection of offerings which help customers achieve specific outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption. We also deliver focused guidance through our global specialty practices, which cover a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries.
Key job responsibilities
As an experienced technology professional, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, implementing, and building complex, scalable, and secure GenAI and ML applications and models built on AWS tailored to customer needs
- Providing technical guidance and implementation support throughout project delivery, with a focus on using AWS AI/ML services
- Collaborating with customer stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective model training, building, and deployment strategies
- Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
- Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
- Experience in software development with object oriented language
- 4+ years of experience hosting and deploying GenAI/ML solutions (e.g., for training, fine tuning, and inferences)
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Professional level certification
- Masters or PhD degree in computer science, or related technical, math, or scientific field
- Strong working knowledge of deep learning, machine learning and statistics
- Experience related to AWS services such as SageMaker, Bedrock, EMR, S3, OpenSearch Service, Step Functions, Lambda, and EC2
- Hands on experience with deep learning (e.g., CNN, RNN, LSTM, Transformer), machine learning, CV, GNN, or distributed training
- Strong communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to convey rigorous mathematical concepts and considerations to non-experts
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
