Project Overview
The person in this role will be responsible for upgrading all the PI interfaces accross sites and WPO. There are approximately 200 interfaces on all over PI servers all of which are currently running legacy versions. • Worked extensively on OSISoft PI product suite and understanding of other operations and engineering applications like Digital Oil Fiedl (IFM, IVM), Matrikon OPC, OPC UA/DA, RTACs, Data Historians etc. • Upgrade/Backup & Restore/Infrastructure refresh of PI Systems followed by co-ordination activities among DBAs, Change management reps., Server team, network team etc. • PI Server health monitoring using performance counters, health tags or dashboards. • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional specifications. • Provide production support and resolve user issues with system performance, availability, and functionality. • Work directly with client team members and colleagues to achieve project goals. • Develop and share functional and business expertise with the team. Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineer, information systems or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Demonstrated abilities in various programming languages to include but not limited to:, C#, ASP.NET, SQL, and JavaScript, SAS.
• Knowledge of application integration with established network infrastructure and operating systems.
• Experience with UI development.
• Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from various backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a staff member at VCU.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to configure and administer enterprise-wide web applications running in a servlet container, such as Tomcat
