We're looking for an early-career Information Operations professional to join a diverse and dynamic team responsible for messaging to audiences around the globe in over a dozen languages.
Junior IO Coordinators support the full campaign lifecycle: contributing ideas, helping refine concepts, coordinating workflows, and ensuring messaging moves smoothly from draft to execution. What you will do:
  • Support the development, review, and execution of social media messaging in a range of global information environments and target languages
  • Apply sound judgment to balance creativity with editorial guidance and program requirements

Amentum is seeking experienced Information Operations Planners to support U.S. Government clients. The role involves advising, coordinating, planning, and assisting in all aspects of Information Operations planning and analysis, in support of Combatant Command operations within the Information Environment. Locations to include CONUS and OCONUS.
**As an Information Operations Planner you will have the opportunity to:**
- Apply a targeting-like methodology to information and strategic communications planning from the identification of desired effects, through execution and assessment.
- Manage the command's integrated strategic communications process, coordinating with a broad range of stakeholders, and aligning information forces and activities to the campaign plan.
- Advise on the nuances between traditional fires/targeting and a cognitive-focused targeting-like process.
- Advise and educate core information planners and information forces on the targeting-like methodology needed to achieve strategic objectives in the information environment.
- Provide expert mission analysis, analytic problem solving, and assessment skills, to inform and recommend the creative employment of information forces and information related capabilities
- Support the development of innovative concepts to counter adversarial use of mis-information, dis-information, and propaganda
- Develop and support plans and concepts that integrate and synchronize joint information capabilities to leverage the inherent informational aspects of joint force activities within the theater.
- Conduct target audience analysis and open-source research to establish baselines for future campaign and operational assessments.
- Conduct assessment of information activities and OIE. Identify and track measures of performance through attainment of measures of effectiveness
- Support broad spectrum strategic communications planning with J39/IO, COMMSTRAT, PAO, and other stakeholders
- Advise and support planning of information operations (IO), military deception (MILDEC), public affairs (PAO), key leader engagements (KLE), civil affairs (CA), communication strategy (COMMSTRAT) operations security (OPSEC), Cyberspace Operations, and other cognitive-focused information activities.
- Demonstrate expertise in oral, visual, & written communications and briefing techniques.
- Demonstrate the ability to advise, negotiate and persuade gaining acceptance of recommended concepts, ideas, guidance, policies and regulations.
**Required Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 8 years of planning experience with BS/BA, minimum of 6 years with MS/MA. May consider an additional four years of relevant experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
- Expertise in joint targeting, operational planning process, military decision-making process, and military campaign plan planning, and knowledge of developing and accessing tactical and operational level OIE plans and orders.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience with non-lethal targeting at the service or joint level in support of operations at Combatant Commands or Joint Task Forces.
- Knowledge of service departments (Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force) functions and their relationships to COCOM to coordinate OIE in appropriate channels, e.g., Army, Navy, Air Force, or Joint with experience with joint and/or combined military operations and interagency coordination with knowledge of DoD, Joint, and Army service doctrine, regulations, and policies.
- Experience with integrating, coordinating, and synchronizing adjacent and supporting operations, as well as developing support for related capabilities and their activities. Be familiar with, certified in, or have applicable operational/field time experience in one or more of the following:
o Psychological Operations
o Public Affairs
o Civil Affairs
o COMMSTRAT
o OPSEC
- Ability to work effectively within a task organized working group(s)
- Adept at developing and utilizing information products that leverage current and emerging technologies to inform planning, improve coordination, and enable timely decisions.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Relevant information operations training such as:
o Joint information operations planner course
o Defense OPSEC planner course
o MISO planners course
o MILDEC planners course
o Irregular warfare course
- Joint targeting school graduate
- Experience as a non-lethal targeting officer at COCOM, TSOC, or other strategic command

**This is a primarily remote position but will require some travel to sites. Travel could be in Mississippi, Indiana, and Alabama.**
+ The primary hours for this role are M-F 8:00AM-4:30PM EST
**You will:**
+ Have a passion to lead, train and motivate a growing and excited Team.
+ Communicate and collaborate with leadership on issues, opportunities, or challenges.
+ Lead Audit Team which receives requests from Payors
+ Review data and provide client and leadership solutions
+ Comfortable bringing new ideas, process improvement suggestions, and feedback to internal stakeholders.
+ Manage the Request coming in from the Risk Management Team of the client
+ Be the leader of client locations and plan for fluctuating needs.
+ Oversee the escalation calls from our centralized call centers
+ Participates in project teams and committees to advance operational Strategies and initiatives
+ Coordinates with location/client management on complex issues while building a strong relationship
**What you will bring to the table:**
+ A true leadership philosophy in which the goal of the leader is to serve
+ Ability to support clients and your Team working both on-site and remotely.
+ 1-2 years of Health Information related experience
+ Well-versed with HIPAA standards.
+ A knack for presenting to leadership, clients, and your Team via Video or in person.
+ Solution provider and forward thinking
+ Detail and quality oriented as it relates to accurate and compliant information for medical records.
+ Power BI, MS Office
**Bonus points if:**
+ EMR experience with EPIC, or Cerner.
+ Previous production/metric-based work experience
+ Team building and experience elevating individuals' careers.
