Overview

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Safety Manager to join our team. In this role you will get to work on the premier infrastructure project in the country, as well as receive all of the benefits of working for Parsons. This Program is a comprehensive set of rail investments that will improve commuter and intercity services, add needed resiliency and, in its later stages, create new capacity between Newark NJ and NYC.

Program background

The Gateway Program is the most urgent infrastructure program in the country – a comprehensive set of rail investments that will improve commuter and intercity services, add needed resiliency and, in its later stages, create new capacity between Newark, New Jersey and New York City, the busiest section of the Northeast Corridor (NEC). The first phase of the Gateway Program includes the Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP), which includes the construction of a new two-track tunnel under the Hudson River connecting to Penn Station New York as well as the full rehabilitation of the existing 110-year-old North River Tunnel. The Gateway Development Commission (GDC), established through bi-state legislation, is responsible for the financing and development of the Hudson Tunnel Project. Parsons is a Delivery Partner with Arcadis and Mace (MPA) to provide advice, leadership, and support to GDC for the development and implementation of HTP. This is a master service with task order contracts for a 15-year contract encompassing a broad range of strategic advisory services, project management, design management, construction management, stakeholder coordination, federal compliance, operations support, office administration, and related services.

What You'll Be Doing

Serving as the site safety lead for the support and execution partner (SEP) of the NJ Surface Alignment, Package 3, of the Gateway Program. This position will be a key leader within the Program, overseeing the DB contractor and Sub-contractors in monitoring safety adherence to all local, state and federal regulations as well as the procedures and programs detailed in the contractor’s health and safety plan (HASP) and security plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the management and oversight of the SEP Safety Inspectors on the NJ TRANSIT TEAM.
  • Lead the development of the safety culture for the SEP NJ TRANSIT TEAM.
  • Oversees Safety Team who will develop and report daily on observations made (both positive and negative) that affected work site safety.
  • Responsible for review of DB Contractor’s submittals including safety plans, permits and other submittals for regulatory compliance and monitor work activity accordingly.
  • Oversee safety team as well as conduct, attend & report on project safety meetings, toolbox talks, standdowns & other engagements from the aspect of safety.
  • Interface, interact with and support GDC Programmatic Safety Executive and support GDC Corporate Safety Guidelines.
  • Respond, report and investigate incidents that may occur 24/7, and ensure process is followed through completion.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • 10-15+ years experience managing safety programs on civil construction projects
  • Minimum 4 years’ rail experience
  • Minimum OSHA 10 required

  • Preferred: Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) certifications (STC, CHST, SMS, ASP, CSP)
  • Preferred: NJ Transit experience
  • Experience with Mega Projects in the Rail and Transit industry

+ Schedules deployment resources to meet QTS-established schedules
+ Institutes and ensures adherence to Quality Assurance (QA) policies and procedures
+ Institutes and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the deployment of services according to QTS's product catalog or industry best practices
+ Ensures that the DCIM Engineering team is trained on the most up-to-date versions of SOPs and job-specific requirements so that service enablement can be accomplished in an effective, timely, and cost-effective manner
+ Monitors and reviews the deployment of services, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement
+ Analyzes data, prepares reports, and makes recommendations for improving time to project completion
+ Initiates and carries out projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs
+ Tracks, analyzes and improves key parameters such as time to deploy, resource utilization, deployment cost, etc.
+ Assists with the development of operational budgets and monitors actual expenses to ensure they fall within budgets

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**
+ BS in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or other related Engineering degrees or equivalent professional experience
+ Ten or more years of progressive experience with critical monitoring/control systems and support for critical facilities
+ Three or more years of management/supervisory experience leading engineering or critical operations teams
+ Proficient knowledge and experience with BMS and building EPMS systems
+ Familiarity with power distribution systems in a data center environment or similar critical systems environment
+ US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts.

The **Sr. Manager, Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM)** leads a team of engineers responsible for the management and administration of the Electric Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) and Building Management Systems (BMS). This role requires a strategic thinker with keen planning skills and the ability to lead through influence. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical and mechanical systems and possess knowledge of large scale data centers (or similar environments) with a strong process-driven orientation.
**RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned.**
+ Schedules deployment resources to meet QTS-established schedules
+ Institutes and ensures adherence to Quality Assurance (QA) policies and procedures
+ Institutes and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the deployment of services according to QTS's product catalog or industry best practices
+ Ensures that the DCIM Engineering team is trained on the most up-to-date versions of SOPs and job-specific requirements so that service enablement can be accomplished in an effective, timely, and cost-effective manner
+ Monitors and reviews the deployment of services, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement
+ Analyzes data, prepares reports, and makes recommendations for improving time to project completion
+ Initiates and carries out projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs
+ Tracks, analyzes and improves key parameters such as time to deploy, resource utilization, deployment cost, etc.
+ Assists with the development of operational budgets and monitors actual expenses to ensure they fall within budgets
+ Performs administrative tasks such as approving proposals, expenditures, enforcing policies and performance management of DCIM Engineers
+ Champion the effort of change by training and supporting regional DCIM Engineers on BMS/EPMS applications
+ Provide strategic leadership for the DCIM platform to implement enterprise BMS/EPMS standards at the site level
+ Develop BMS/EPMS standards for system topology, graphics and functionality between multiple vendors and multiple sites
+ Lead/direct vendors via Scope of Work and Requests for Proposals/information documents.
+ Implement corporate policies, procedures, and standards to maximize the performance of systems, applications and networks
**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**
+ BS in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or other related Engineering degrees or equivalent professional experience
+ Ten or more years of progressive experience with critical monitoring/control systems and support for critical facilities
+ Three or more years of management/supervisory experience leading engineering or critical operations teams
+ Proficient knowledge and experience with BMS and building EPMS systems
+ Familiarity with power distribution systems in a data center environment or similar critical systems environment
+ US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts.
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Prior experiencing working in a data center environment
+ Familiarity with Aveva WonderWare
+ Knowledge of BAS/BMS systems, ALC, Andover, Tridium, Delta Controls or others
+ Understanding of network implementation
+ Five or more years of experience with various Industrial Control Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) such as Allen Bradley, Schneider Siemens, etc.
+ Experience performing commissioning, qualification & change control activities related to BMS including but not limited to HVAC, chiller plants, domestic and process water systems, building automation systems, etc.
+ Ability to read, interpret, and produce engineering documents that may include: Control Drawings, Sequence of Operations, Bill of Materials, Graphical User, Interface requirements, and Functional Specifications
+ Understanding of basic power calculations on single and 3-phase circuits, electrical diagrams, control diagrams

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer II for our Amazon MSK service, a fully managed service that makes it easy for customers to build and run applications that use Apache Kafka to process streaming data. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
+ Bachelor's degree (B.A. /B.S.) in Business, Education, Computer Science, Psychology, or similar field
+ 8 + years leading change management initiatives for complex technology programs/projects.

+ Proven track record of leading IT transformation initiatives, including cloud adoption and ITSM .
+ Expertise in ITIL frameworks and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

**Summary:**
Meta develops and deploys global-scale infrastructure, including data centers, networks, compute, and storage, to support its 3.8B+ users. The Global Supply Chain Technology Sourcing team is responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing external business relationships, fostering internal engineering partnerships, and executing from new product ideas to large-scale deployment. This team leverages commercial, technical, and operations/manufacturing expertise to advance critical infrastructure domains such as artificial intelligence and custom silicon development.Meta is looking for a leader who can create disruptive value by optimizing supply chain costs and risks. The ideal candidate will possess the business and technical acumen to influence data center technology for infrastructure and drive industry-level change. In this role, you will lead the Data Center Power, Cooling, and/or Connectivity equipment sourcing team. Your responsibilities will include defining and executing sourcing strategies to optimize cost, speed, delivery, and flexibility, thereby supporting Meta's expanding data center footprint at scale. You will also collaborate closely with key stakeholders within the Infrastructure Data Center teams, as well as with finance, legal, and operations teams.
**Required Skills:**
Manager, Data Center Infrastructure Category Management Responsibilities:
1. Develop domain strategies to yield optimal economic and supply risk outcomes for all critical data center technology infrastructure
2. Lead the active management of external partner relationships at the C-suite level, including commercial and supply agreements
3. Influence internal infrastructure product direction both commercially and technically to yield optimal results
4. Manage supply chain risks and optionality to ensure the timely delivery of quality infrastructure products globally
5. Develop sourcing strategies that address the unique needs of supply chain and manufacturing at hyperscale
6. Lead and develop a world-class strategic sourcing team that anticipates and addresses future needs
**Minimum Qualifications:**

7. Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical, electrical systems or another relevant technical field, or the equivalent combination of experience
8. 5+ years experience leading and managing teams within an engineering and supply chain organization
9. Demonstrated understanding of data center infrastructure solutions and technology and supplier roadmaps across power, cooling, connectivity, and controls domains
10. Demonstrated experience to successfully negotiate large, complex agreements covering a wide range of technologies
11. Experience working in hyperscale DC environment and/or construction industries
12. Demonstrated track record of developing and successfully executing complex supply chain strategies in relevant technical or service domains
13. Experience in NPI launches, product ramp, sustaining support, and end-of-life cycle for data center infrastructure products in a large-scale environment
14. Experience setting long term sourcing strategy and executing through team members reliably
15. Demonstrated experience in hiring, training, and developing sourcing teams
16. Experience in cross functional partnership and enabling the success of others
17. Experience transforming business systems, models, and achieving results relative to goals. Demonstrated skills questioning the norm, thinking out-of-bounds, and delivering
18. Experience with total cost of ownership (TCO) and developing system solutions to optimize performance aligned to KPIs
