Customer is a growth-oriented company that continues to expand its development of new energy sites. The IT Hardware Infrastructure Project Manager will be primarily responsible for executing new IT infrastructure build projects for generation sites (both Substations and Operations & Maintenance sites). This role entails managing multiple site infrastructure projects from inception through completion. The incumbent will drive work, collaboratively, to execute objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure overall successful project delivery (on-time, on-budget, high quality, meeting business outcomes).
• Interfaces with stakeholders from different parts of the organizations to develop scope, technical requirements and execution plans for new projects.
• Lead projects with overall responsibility for successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, status reporting and closure.
• Drives activities to achieve measurable outcomes by managing schedule, resource, scope, deliverables, budget, risk, issue, dependency, vendor relationship and communications.
• Collaborates with project and program leads to create any required business cases, project charters, communication plans, delivery timelines, detailed schedules and resources required.
• Provides timely updates to program manager, functional leads, IT PMO, and key stakeholders by producing regular status reports and steering governance updates.

- Ensure success in initiation, planning, execution, and close of all projects against agreed targets.
- Maintain high qualitative and quantitative standards for work performance along with maintaining accurate and consistent electronic files.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field.
- 5 or more years of related experience.
- Solid project management skills along with demonstrated understanding of project management business.
- Experience in client relations, client management and consulting. Autonomously able to manage a complete project from onset through completion.
- Read and understand construction specifications and blueprints.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural/engineering drawings. Prepare and track master project budgets.
- Highly organized with the ability to identify and manage multiple priorities at once.
- Understanding of technical requirements for various project types.
- Experience within the construction industry required, candidates with additional life sciences or high-tech manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

The Project Manager is responsible for the successful design and planning of facilities projects, including mechanical, electrical, civil, industrial, and architectural applications; and for the associated administrative and budgetary control responsibilities; and for the planning, organizing, coordination of resources, implementing, directing, and control of these projects. Must have exceptional organizational, analytical and problem-solving. Must have the ability to lead a team and/or mentor less experienced team members. The primary focus for this role will be HVAC and BMS related projects.Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assists with group direction through performance of routine tasks and activities and establishes processes, methods and systems.
- Proactively manages project-related issues on an account or assigned project as necessary for each project.
- Develop scope and schedule project reports and manage the development of drawings for clients, property/facility management team, design and development and constructions phases for assigned project.
- Ensure success in initiation, planning, execution, and close of all projects against agreed targets.
- Maintain high qualitative and quantitative standards for work performance along with maintaining accurate and consistent electronic files.
- Prepare agendas and meeting materials, lead meetings, develop and maintain master project budgets and timelines as required for each project and project phase to ensure overall project objectives and client needs are met.
- Support the project implementation and execution through completion of construction. Works with owner team on operational readiness plans
- Advise and obtain necessary approvals from management of potential organizational changes, actions requiring additional commitments and the need for expenditures in excess of approved budget.
- Coordinate and track all vendor RFQs and RFPs.
- Proactively manage project-related risks and issues.
- Review all change orders and other invoices associated with the project and confer with client.
- Read and understand mechanical engineering plans, studies, and reports
- Perform site evaluations related to HVAC replacement projects
- Coordinate design reviews with mechanical engineers based on user requirements and value engineered efforts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field.
- 5 or more years of related experience.
- Solid project management skills along with demonstrated understanding of project management business.
- Experience in client relations, client management and consulting. Autonomously able to manage a complete project from onset through completion.
- Read and understand construction specifications and blueprints.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural/engineering drawings. Prepare and track master project budgets.
- Highly organized with the ability to identify and manage multiple priorities at once.
- Understanding of technical requirements for various project types.
- Experience within the construction industry required, candidates with additional life sciences or high-tech manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suit
