Responsibilities

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer on our Technology Services Team, you will play a key role in the design, planning, and execution of projects related to GUARD's server, storage, backup, and virtualization environments in the cloud.  An ideal candidate should be able to understand and implement public cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions, as well as analyze and resolve complex issues related to these areas. Monitor system performance and capacity and provide proactive remediation. Provide cloud services estimates and identify trends and opportunities for process and technology advancements to critical Infrastructure. Act as a technical escalation point for team members. We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to work out of one of these locations: Corporate Office in Wilkes-Barre, PA, Philadelphia, PA, Parsippany, NJ, Chicago, IL, Alpharetta, GA, or Dallas-Fort Worth, TX.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and participate in Azure cloud infrastructure projects.
  • Design and implement infrastructure technical solutions that exhibit high levels of performance, security and scalability, while keeping any risks/impacts to the business in mind.
  • Develop and implement complex cloud environments, focusing on infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, ARM templates, BluePrint.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or Github Actions.
  • Create, manage, and understand Azure resources such as app gateways, load balancers, storage accounts, Azure Files, app services, NSGs, virtual desktops/pools, backup/polices, Site Recovery, Azure Backup, etc.

Salary Range

$65,900.70-$152,611.80 USD

The successful candidate is expected to work in one of our offices 3 days per week and also be available for travel as required.

**Where You Will Work  **
Looking to live in a small town with big opportunities? **What You Will Do**
+ Set-up, deliver and install personal computers, telephones, networking, and peripheral equipment using established and defined procedures and processes.
+ Perform preventative maintenance on voice and data communication systems and associated hardware maintaining accurate documentation.
+ Actively participate in Safety and Environmental programs, ensure MIS policy compliance and site operational goals.
+ Perform voice, network, and PC and basic wireless troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose infrastructure problems.
+ Perform other duties as required.
**What You Bring To Freeport**
+ Two (2) years of experience in computer/electronic systems hardware/software troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
+ Demonstrated technical expertise in the installation, repair and maintenance of PC hardware, software, printers, fax machines and telephone handsets.
+ Ability to effectively analyze, troubleshoot and diagnose issues with computers, peripherals, cellular and voice systems.
+ Basic understanding of networking concepts, protocols and technology including wireless networking equipment
+ Basic knowledge of voice systems (PBX/VoIP)
+ Skill in effective communication, both verbal and written
+ Ability to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts and both scheduled and unscheduled overtime as business dictates.
+ Must be customer service-oriented and possess good organizational skills.
+ Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
+ Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ High School diploma or GED
+ A+ Certification
+ Network+ Certification

The estimated pay range for this role is currently  **$26.00 - $36.00/hour.** This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
