Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Successfully handle and deliver packages on time
· Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle, follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies
· Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions
· Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions; lift packages (up to 50 lbs); get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations
· Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
· Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members
· Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle
· Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes

CHS Northwest in **Poulsbo, WA** is looking for a **Propane Delivery & Service Specialist** to join our team! This individual would be responsible for equipment installation and repair of propane tanks as well as delivering propane to our customers in the Poulsbo area. **Responsibilities**
+ Increase propane sales through door-to-door sales, marketing programs, customer referrals, and telemarketing.
+ Grow and maintain current market share through prompt delivery of all products and regular communication with current customer base.
+ Make proper recommendations of propane and services to customers and promote CHS products and services.
+ Perform propane and equipment installation, repair and delivery work as required by local, state, and federal regulations. Invoice all products and services accurately as they are delivered or sold.
+ Assist supervisor in developing marketing programs to attract new business and retain current customers.
+ Promptly handle all customer complaints with follow-up ensuring complaint resolution.
+ Ensure all daily paperwork is accurate and complete.

As a Delivery Driver, you will have face-to-face contact with customers as you deliver orders. You will safely drive a Graybar truck or van from the warehouse to each destination, providing on-time delivery and good customer service. **In this role you will:**

This is an Operations position responsible for supervising and directing the activities associated with delivery. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, collaborative direction to delivery supervisory staff, specific direction to drivers, routing, safety, and compliance.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Supervises the daily work and safety of delivery associates, including adherence to standard operating procedures, adherence to planned routes, and providing safe and efficient customer service.
+ Analyzes live and historical data to ensure accuracy for maintaining optimal delivery plans and on-time customer service.
+ Supervises labor hours and directs labor activities to stay within budget.
+ Recommends work schedules including stop changes, classification changes, customer open/close times, window expectations and provides to the appropriate person for necessary changes.
+ Supervises the proper selection utilization of company assets in support of the delivery department.
+ Coordinates required repairs with proper departments as necessary.
+ Reviews delivery productivity reporting to the appropriate supervisor for review and determination.

+ Interprets, trains and consistently applies company policies, protocols and procedures including but not limited to food safety, DOT (department of transportation), record keeping, performance expectations, and safe work methods, etc.
+ Communicates with Sales Management and Marketing Associates via email and maintains current communications board data to collaboratively resolve any customer or delivery opportunities or issues.
+ Communicates proactively with drivers and directs activities to ensure successful adherence to daily delivery schedules and departmental performance goals and overtime objectives.
+ Coordinates efforts with Transportation Road Supervisors and with Safety Trainer to insure consistent training, conducting associate observations, updating preferred work methods, timely accident investigations to determine root causes, and routine safety inspections. Makes recommendations for disciplinary action and/or behavior modification where required based on a consistent review of performance data metrics.
+ Ability to keyboard proficiently.
+ Utilize canned reporting.
+ Create specific ad hoc reports to identify areas for improvements.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint as well as numerous variants.
**Education**
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
