The International Huntsville Powertrain Plant is a benchmark facility that builds engines and transmissions to meet the needs of today's - and tomorrow's - customers. The QC Inspection Manager reports to the Plant Quality Manager and manages day to day department resources and coordinates the management of quality deviations, quality system, quality related performance elements, and collaborates with other TRATON sites on all quality related elements.
Responsibilities
+ Manage/Ensure Quality resource deployment and requirements.
+ Drive problem solving activities across all lines and products.
+ Develop, manage and communicate relevant information and reports to management.
+ Drive customer feedback and CAR response.
+ Engage with TRATON facilities on assembly and machining subjects.
Minimum Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree
+ At least 6 years of quality inspection experience
+ At least 1 year of lead experience

+ Master's degree
+ At least 4 years of quality inspection experience
+ At least 1 year of lead experience
OR
+ At least 8 years of quality inspection experience
+ At least 1 year of lead experience
Additional Requirements

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
LIVIC Civil is looking to fill a full-time position for a Construction Inspection Manager.
Essential job functions include:
- Review and interpret plans, site layouts, specifications and construction methods to ensure compliance to legal requirements and safety regulations
- Coordinate and supervise project inspection activities to ensure contractor compliance of plans, contract documents, specifications and standards
- Oversee, schedule and maintain subordinate inspection staff throughout all project phases
- Measure dimensions and verify level, alignment, and elevation of structures, fixtures, grades and/or pavement to ensure compliance to plans and codes
- Makes field notes and computations
- Work on behalf of the Client to draft project correspondence, facilitate project meetings, and resolve construction related field issues
- Witness routine sampling and tests on concrete, soils and other materials
- Gathers and maintains project records (using PennDOT ECMS and other systems)
- Interact with the general public, government agencies, contractors, sub-contractors, and other internal and external parties to respond to inquiries
- Ability to act in an Owner's Agent/Responsible in Charge Role
- Strong Computer proficiency
- Candidates must have a minimum of four years of PennDOT, Pennsylvania Turnpike, or related transportation construction experience.
- GED or high school diploma required.
- Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration.
- Possess a personal vehicle for use on or around a job site.
- Able to stand for approximately 3 hours minimum a day up to 8 hours.
- Able to traverse a construction job site consisting of uneven ground varying in height and consistency of material, with a variation of elevation 19" or less (mud, gravel, rutted ground, etc.).
- Availability to work various shifts, including night shift. Overtime is often required.

**Responsibilities:**
+ Manage site quality operations in a safe and effective manner supporting mission objectives and contract metrics are met.
+ Interfaces with the Company's Quality Management Team, Field Manager, Aircraft Maintenance Manager, and Government CBP Management and Flight personnel.

+ Support the SMS through the Aviation Safety Official by reporting required data.

+ Conducts and validates business practices to ensure both government and contractor requirements are met.
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ B.A. (or equivalent degree) - a higher level degree may substitute for relevant experience
+ Typically, 6+ years of progressive aviation experience, which includes 0-2+ years of management experience.

As the Quality Engineer Manager, you will be responsible for leading a multifunctional team of Quality Engineers, Inspectors, Metrologists, Metrology Technicians, and leaders to ensure the effective execution of quality functions and metrology operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage a team of quality professionals, including Quality Engineers, Inspectors, Quality Tool Engineers, Metrologists, and Metrology Technicians, to ensure the effective execution of quality functions and metrology operations.
- Develop and implement quality strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality management systems, including ISO 9001, AS9100, or other relevant standards.
- Manage the Metrology and Tool Inspection functions, ensuring accurate and reliable measurement and inspection of tools and equipment.
- Drive the 1LMX solutions for Metrology and Tool Inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production Control, to ensure quality requirements are integrated into product design, production, and delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing, six sigma, and other quality improvement methodologies.

**Basic Qualifications:**
