Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. Responsibilities
- Responsible for construction inspection of major infrastructure rehabilitation project
- Monitor and track project schedule and budget
- Interface with clients/agencies and contractors
- Coordinate and track all project plans and drawings
Qualifications
- NICET III/IV Certifications and experience in construction inspection required
- NACE Certification and experience on projects for NJ Turnpike Authority a big plus
- ACI, TCP (Rutgers) and OSHA certifications are preferred
- Bridge experience required
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods and procedures as well NJ Turnpike Authority CapEx manager system
- Ability to maintain field and office records and perform quantity computations
- Experience reading and interpreting plans and specifications
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Collaborate with multiple team members
- Physical ability and coordination to safely maneuver around construction sites

**Job Description:**
Parsons is looking for construction inspectors to join our team!
We have multiple positions available at the inspector and senior inspector levels for both gas and electric projects.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Have a minimum of three (3) years prior experience and training in excavation, road, or utility construction with an emphasis on electric installations, plastic pipe installation, welding, and steel pipefitting. Inspectors will be required to oversee construction projects on Overhead and Underground Electric Transmission, Substation, Overhead and Underground Distribution, Environmental, Facilities and other types of electric utility projects.
+ An Inspector may be required to oversee multiple construction projects at varying stages at one time (from designing to completed final folder close out).
+ An Inspector must possess managerial skills, computer literacy, and a working knowledge of the utility industry.
+ An Inspector will be required to inspect work performed by construction contractors and supervised by Company representatives assuring adherence to company specifications, proper work methods and appropriate use of facilities and equipment.
+ Must be able to read and interpret drawings, maps, plans, specifications, and procedures. They must possess the ability to keep accurate and detailed field records including daily job reports, material usage and locations and field test records.
+ Be knowledgeable in the requirements of OSHA
+ All inspectors will be required to ensure that any job they're overseeing is maintained in a safe manner and meets or exceeds safety and environmental policies and procedures
+ Have strong organizational skills to complete daily paperwork, maps, and documentation with a clear comprehension of construction units of measurement.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Associate's Degree in a technical discipline or construction-related field, or a high school diploma and equivalent work experience, is required.

Pay Rate: $15.50/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. or 6:00 p.m .- 2:30 a.m.

Supplier Inspection Services, Inc. provides quality management support services that assist our clients manufacture and deliver high quality products. Our clients include component manufacturers in the Automotive, Aerospace, Appliance and general manufacturing industries.
Our Manufacturing Quality Inspectors perform visual inspection and rework of manufactured parts.
Manufacturing Quality Inspectors starting pay @ $15.00/hour with room for advancement.
Manufacturing Quality Inspectors job duties include but are not limited to:
• Performing a range of varied inspection tasks
• Using inspection, measuring and test equipment as necessary
• Perform visual inspection either at one of our local facilities or where the parts are manufactured or stored
• Reading and following written and verbal work instructions
• May work overtime and/or weekends as assigned
Qualifications
• HS diploma or GED equivalency
• Steel toe shoes
• Basic math skills
• Detailed oriented
• Follow verbal and written instructions
• Provide accurate and complete information for required paperwork
• Must have own vehicle and a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to walk, stand, lift up and move material and perform repetitive tasks for an entire shift
