Job requires up to 85% percent travel in the U.S. and Canada.
Must have RECENT hands-on experience installing new machinery, troubleshooting electrical maintenance problems with 3-phase motors, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics and PLCs.

- This position is responsible for carrying out installations, commissioning equipment, maintenance, and the ongoing service and support to customers, in a timely and professional manner.
- Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients and prospective clients with the objective of achieving sales revenue and growth according to targets across North America and Canada.
- Ensure sound knowledge of company products and services is developed and maintained to ensure accurate communication with customers.
- Ensure installations are completed on time and in accordance with all specifications and documentation.
- Provide first, second and third level support, in relation to breakdowns and/or customer queries, responding by either telephone or site visits, promptly.
- Responsible for providing routine maintenance and planned services of company equipment in accordance with schedules.
- Provide input and feedback to the R&D Team in Sydney, relating to product modifications / faults and developments.
- Provide training to customers and internally related to proper operation, preventative maintenance, any defective equipment.
- Assist mechanical engineers with R&D through product trailing.
- Provide support and work closely with the Sales Team and Customers to conduct product demonstrations and trials either in our office or at customer sites.
- Work with Project Engineers in the lead up to installation, ensuring correct layouts and documentations have been received.
- Repair and test all electronic and mechanical equipment that has been returned.
- Develop strong professional relationships with all customers and provide feedback to the Sales Team regarding prospective capital investment obtained through such relationships.
- Attend and work at trade shows / exhibitions held throughout the year (including some weekends).
- Carry out audits, costing and refurbishment of machines.
- Assist in generating new customer business and negotiating margins on sales.
- Maintain knowledge and awareness of competitors and competitor pricing.

The MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort provides leading edge Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) for the US Space Force's Space Systems Center (SSC). Key Responsibilities:
+ Supports USSF SSC Protected Tactical Enterprise (PTES) SATCOM Program Management Office (PMO) in Fielding of new SATCOM ground systems
+ Sr. Engineer and Subject Matter Expert to PTES PMO Government Customer for all SATCOM, Site Development, System Integration, and project acceptance documentation issues
+ Maintains the PTES Fielding schedules and actively drives PTES Fielding projects through to completion for the PTES PMO Government Customer
+ Authors, Maintains, Modifies Requirements Documents and Interface Control Documents. Actively engages in formal Change Management/Engineering Change Request processes
+ Collaborates with Subject Matter Experts from other PTES PMO Functional Areas, providing a Fielding perspective on issues or documents they are working
+ Supports the PTES PMO Chief Engineer in Special Projects and High Visibility issues requiring SATCOM Fielding support

Qualifications:
Required:
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required for this position
+ Bachelor's Degree in related Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), field (i.e. Electrical Engineers, Space Systems Engineering, etc.)
+ 12+ years of applicable job experience in Space and Ground Systems Operations, Planning, Engineering, & Management
+ Experience Fielding MILSATCOM systems, such as AEHF, EPS, WGS, and Tactical SATCOM or COMSATCOM
+ Experience with Defense Information Systems Agency SATCOM and terrestrial communications
+ Experience authoring Requirements Documents, Engineering Packages, review of supplier design proposals
+ Willing to travel as Task requirements dictate
+ Functional understanding of Orbital Mechanics, Timing & Synchronization, and RF Link Budget Analysis
+ Organization capability with ability to handle competing priorities
+ Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills
+ Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate ideas, recommendations and options to customers, senior leaders, and stakeholders
+ Ability to resolve conflicts effectively and in a professional manner
+ Expert in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Desired:
+ Understands Program Management of ACAT I through ACAT III programs
+ Certifications in Systems Engineering (INCOSE ESEP, CSEP)
+ Hands-on experience working in DoD SATCOM facilities or USSF Delta 8 Regional SATCOM Support Centers or Wideband SATCOM Operations Center
+ Hands-on experience design, coordination, installation, test, and transition of MILSATCOM ground systems
+ Demonstrated Project Management experience
+ Experience working with military or DoD civilian clients
+ Experience managing subcontractor and DoD Civilian suppliers
Basic Compensation: $148,000 - $186,000 in California
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
