The Instructional Designer is creative, tech-savvy and detail-oriented and will design, develop, enhance and curate engaging learning solutions and experiences for our workforce. He/she will collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), trainers and department leads to create customized, high-impact learning materials-both digital and in-person-that support knowledge transfer, skill development and performance improvement across the organization, while also organizing a diverse portfolio of new and existing learning materials within our Learning Management System (LMS).

Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead the full instructional design lifecycle for TAS learning programs, to include conducting learning needs assessments; collaborating with subject matter experts; designing and developing engaging curricula and content for both digital and instructor-led formats; and evaluating the effectiveness of instructional materials.
+ Uphold and integrate Transdev's high safety standards into all learning content and instructional materials.
+ Develop a variety of multi-modal instructional materials, such as eLearning and microlearning courses/modules, videos, playbooks, facilitator guides, simulations, assessments and job aids that enhance learning and promote on-the-job knowledge and skill application.
+ Apply adult learning principles, instructional design models and accessibility standards to ensure materials are learner-centered, effective, inclusive and engaging for a diverse audience.
+ Partner cross-functionally with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Trainers, HR and Department Leads to gather content, validate technical accuracy and align learning solutions with business goals.
+ Own and manage the organization, maintenance and version control of learning content within the company's Learning Management System (LMS).
+ Use learner feedback, performance data and business metrics to evaluate and improve learning materials and recommend scalable solutions.
+ Ensure all content remains compliant with company policies, regulatory standards and client-specific requirements.
+ Adapt learning solution content to meet evolving operational needs and market launches, often under tight timelines.
+ Operate autonomously in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment, while also contributing to collaborative efforts with internal stakeholders.
+ Track progress, meet project deadlines and manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills.
Required Education and Experience:
+ Minimum of high school diploma or GED required; four-year college degree in a related field like Education, Instructional Design or Communications strongly preferred;
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design and curriculum development for multi-modal formats, preferably in a fast-paced corporate or organizational setting;
+ Experience with LMS administration (Rippling or equivalent preferred);
+ Experience using data and analytics tools to assess learning effectiveness and program impact.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Attitudes and Behaviors (KSABs):
+ Proficiency in various instructional design tools and platforms, such as Articulate Storyline, Vyond, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, video production software and other online learning applications;
+ Proficiency in conducting Learning Needs Analyses and Learning Management;
+ Strong project management and organizational skills;
+ Superior written and verbal communication skills;
+ Skilled in working collaboratively with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams;
+ Attention to detail and ability to quickly and concisely articulate information/content;
+ Aptitude in integrating new and developing technology and industry standards;
+ Adeptness in multi-tasking with multiple technologies and communication devices;
+ Demonstrated self-motivation and good judgment in fast-paced, high stress environments

+ Designs, creates and delivers training in accordance with programs/projects use of the ADDIE system of training. May be a specialist in one or more stages of ADDIE (Analyst, Designer, Developer, Implementer, or Evaluator).
