UTHealth's Human Resources department is seeking a dynamic and organized individual to fill the role of Coordinator for the Executive Recruitment, Leadership and Learning team. This team oversees the interview, selection, and hiring process for leadership roles, along with the design and implementation of leadership training and development programs across the university. In collaboration with the team, one of the Coordinator's primary goals will be to achieve positive and effective outcomes in support of university and departmental business objectives.
This self-starter will act decisively on their own while communicating frequently with executive leadership and maintaining strong relationships with various business partners. They will provide overall administrative support, schedule meetings and interviews for various candidates and interview groups, create meeting and interview agendas and packets, as well as assist the departments in the coordination of candidate travel and expense reimbursements. They are responsible for financial administration tasks, including entering invoices, purchase orders, and expenses into the financial system; ordering various supplies. The Coordinator partners closely with the Executive Recruitment, Leadership, and Learning team to streamline and standardize processes to ensure things run smoothly in this critical, highly visible area.
The ideal candidate will be a tech-savvy professional who can utilize all of the tools in MS Office needed in today's recruiting climate, including expert skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams to create spreadsheets and departmental reports. Additionally, knowledge of video meeting technology is needed as they will schedule both in-person and virtual interviews.
This position will be based out of the University Center Tower located at the corner of Fannin and Pressler. It is a non-exempt, full-time role that works standard hours during a typical work week. Position Key Accountabilities:
- Facilitates the recruitment process by providing administrative and logistical support to the executive recruiting team.
- Coordinates the flow of candidates through the recruitment process, from scheduling interviews to bringing new employees on board.

Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum Experience: Five (5) years of related work experience required. Extensive experience with scheduling, maintaining calendars, and travel itineraries required. Prior experience preparing meeting materials or general reports is required. May substitute required experience with equivalent years of education beyond the minimum education requirement.
