**Position Summary**
The Instructional Technologist is responsible for supporting efforts around course creation, course delivery and ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of learning materials and experiences. This person will be responsible for pilot testing course materials in the LMS from a student perspective, completing quality assurance testing of online course, and acting as a liaison between learners, instructors/SMEs, and internal and external stakeholders to ensure high quality, accessible, and impactful learning experiences. The position will report directly to the Manager Learning Technology.
**Responsibilities**
+ Collaborates with colleagues across the Learning Experience team and Professional Development function to deliver engaging learning experiences through our LMS and other related platforms
+ Support configuration of LMS and other learning delivery platforms
+ Develop and deliver relevant course materials, serving to support Operations and learners with troubleshooting and supporting issues and challenges.
+ Helps to accurately identify, triage, troubleshoot and resolve any technical or learner issues in a prompt and timely manner.
+ Supports the Learning Experience team to provide usability, accessibility, and quality assurance across various digital learning
+ Assist in the documentation and enhancement of current process and procedures; suggest or collaborate with team regarding updates as needed.
+ Supports course releases and training
+ Provides support in developing, coordinating, and/or conducting training for LMS and other learning platform functionality and limitations.
+ Engages with cross-functional teams to address questions regarding course schedules, cancellations, and learner activity. 
+ Researches and recommends new technologies and tools to enhance and improve digital learning experiences
+ Proactively engage with learners to address questions, provide advice, and help them maximize the value of their learning experience.
+ Collect and share learner feedback to inform program improvements and support learner success
+ Remains knowledgeable and proficient in best practices, strategies, tools, and current preferences in curriculum and learning design and development
+ Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

+ Course development and technology support experience in an academic and learning management setting.
**Physical and Mental Demands**
+ Up to 5% travel required.

+ Helps to accurately identify, triage, troubleshoot and resolve any technical or learner issues in a prompt and timely manner.
+ Supports the Learning Experience team to provide usability, accessibility, and quality assurance across various digital learning

BayCare is seeking a skilled Instructional Technologist to join our Organizational Development and Learning team. This role blends high-level technical expertise with instructional design to support the development of engaging, effective learning experiences across the health system.
**What You'll Do**
+ Provide advanced support services to the department and internal customers, including the design and development of eLearning and multimedia products
+ Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to analyze content, define learning objectives, and identify instructional strategies
+ Design and develop interactive and static learning materials such as eLearning modules, job aids, process guides, and resource documents
+ Apply adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, AGILE) to create impactful training solutions
+ Use tools like Articulate Storyline/Rise, Adobe Creative Cloud, Vyond, Snagit, WellSaid Labs, and Microsoft Office Suite
+ Publish and test SCORM content in the LMS; troubleshoot issues to ensure proper functionality
+ Monitor and maintain the effectiveness of existing technologies and explore new tools for instructional innovation
+ Work cross-functionally with multidisciplinary teams across BayCare Health System
**The Ideal Candidate**
