The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus has a 1.0 FTE faculty position available at the rank of Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). Under the direction of full-time transplant hepatology faculty, this position provides outpatient medical services at the University of Colorado Hospital in the Liver Transplant Clinic as well as outreach clinics in the Denver metro area and mountain west region and telehealth across Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico. The primary function of the position includes post-liver transplant management more than 90 days after transplant. This would include immunosuppression management. Additional responsibilities include lab review with nurse coordinators and clinical and medication management. This is a clinic-based practice. There may be exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to the clinical environment.
This role is expected to work both at the University of Colorado main campus, Lone Tree site in south Denver, Loveland site, and outreach clinics in Albuquerque and Grand Junction.

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine, at the University of Colorado has an opening for a full-time float sonographer at the rank of Instructor/Sonographer between a 0.525 - 0.925 FTE. This position will provide support to the freestanding Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic, located in Downtown Denver, Littleton, Parker, and Fort Collins. This position reports directly to the MFM Practice Manager and indirectly to the Medical Directors and the Division Administrative Director. The duties of this position include performing independent diagnostic ultrasound examinations on "high risk obstetrical" patients who will be subsequently evaluated and treated by a Maternal Fetal Medicine attending physician, preparing preliminary reports for physician review, and verifying data obtained from the ultrasound. As needed, this position may be asked to review and triage referrals alongside schedulers and MFM providers to determine urgency in scheduling. You will work cooperatively with the Medical Directors, Perinatologists, fellow Sonographers, and the administrative team to ensure high quality patient care and referring physician satisfaction. This position will be scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm or 8:30 am to 5 pm with no on-call obligation. Each MFM clinic has two sonographers onsite each day. Each sonographer covers one room with an average of 8 patient scans per day. Each clinic has either GE Voluson22 or GE Voluson E10s with ViewPoint reporting software that interfaces with EPIC for our EMR system. We follow AIUM guidelines for our ultrasound protocols and each clinic is recognized as an AIUM accredited ultrasound practice. CU MFM values a work culture in which our sonographers are well respected. The MFM division is comprised of a dynamic team, which includes 3 dedicated Fetal Surgeons, 21 MFM physicians, 2 Physician Assistants, 1 Nurse Practitioner, 2 Genetic Counselors, 1 OB Endocrine Physician, 2 Diabetes Educators, 12 Sonographers, 1 Nurse Navigator, 8 Medical Assistants, and 4 dedicated schedulers.The MFM physicians are amazing to work with. There is an ample amount of partnership between our MFM physicians and the sonographers. After each scan, the sonographer will present the case to the MFM physician and share their perspective on the patient's case. As CU MFM is part of an academic institution, a great deal of importance is placed upon teaching and ongoing education.CU MFM hosts a monthly Education Series for the clinical and nonclinical staff. In this series, MFM physicians present different topics, protocols, and interesting ultrasound cases. CU MFM also hosts a biennial fetal imaging ultrasound conference in partnership with Children's Hospital Colorado, which includes presentations from MFM physicians and MFM sonographers as well as a hands-on ultrasound training course.

The nationally-ranked School of Public Affairs (SPA) at the University of Colorado Denver seeks a full-time Instructor for a temporary appointment from Aug 11, 2025-May 22, 2026 (which constitutes one academic year) to teach students in our criminal justice program starting fall of 2025. The expected teaching load is eight courses over the duration **in-person and online** (4 in each semester).

The Instructor position will develop and teach the Clinical Science Graduate Program's Clinical Outcomes and Applications (CLSC 7202) graduate course starting in Fall 2024 to Masters and PhD level students. This course provides an overview of the field of major issues in outcomes research, and we will provide a deeper dive into select topics. Outcomes research uses a wide variety of research designs to expand understanding of how to measure outcomes of health care. The course is designed to provide students with both theory and application through case studies and in-class activities. Topics to be included are introduction to course, introduction to patient reported outcome measures (PROMs) & other objective measures, study design, data sources, introduction to conceptual models, diversity, equity, inclusion and justice (DEIJ), qualitative methods/stakeholder engagement, mixed methods, dissemination & implementation (research to implementation gap), and research into policy. Class activities will involve hands-on experiences to support learning and developing approaches to address conducting outcomes research. **Nature of Work:**
The physician assistant or nurse practitioner will provide clinical care in the Emergency Department at the Free Standing Emergency Medicine Hospitals (Mississippi & Green Valley Sites), as delegated by a person licensed to practice medicine in Colorado. Principal activities include patient care in our Super Track environment (continuation of care of ESI 3-4 patients) working in a Clinical Decision Unit in the Emergency Department, as well as working collaboratively with Faculty Attendings on more complicated patients in the main zones of the ED. Delegated medical care includes, but is not limited to, the assessment, treatment and care of patients of all age categories. It is expected the employee will be competent to interpret age specific developmental, physiologic and unique care needs by assessment and by observation of care

The Department of Emergency Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Instructor positions in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). Expertise is required in the specific area of Emergency Medicine. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. ABEM certified or board eligible.
Responsibilities may include teaching third and fourth year medical students, Emergency Medicine residents, Ultrasound fellows, and house staff rotating from other clinical departments, i.e. Medicine and Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Instructors will also provide emergency medical care to patients presented to the emergency department at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, and Pennsylvania Hospital.
The successful applicant will have an opportunity to complete a Masters of Science in Clinical Epidemiology through the Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics (CCEB) in the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology.
