ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Become a power user of our online policy management platforms to deliver creative solutions and new operational procedures.
• Develop and improve procedures and processes within the underwriting operations workflow.
• Collaborate with underwriting leadership to optimize workflows and underwriting systems, with the aim of improving the lives of our teammates and customers.
• Manage the underwriting technology platform and rating tools while creating a collaborative, supportive and high performing culture.

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Austin, TX. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Insurance Operations Specialist III prepares insurance documents on industry-standard forms for our clients and is responsible for reviewing submitted documentation, consulting insurance information, and preparing and distributing the Certificates of Insurance to appropriate parties.

We will count on you to:

• Handle end-to-end standard client renewal process including timely and accurate updates of master templates, following directions regarding final document aggregation and distribution
• Create and manage non-Acord documents as assigned, including endorsement creation, uploads, and swaps
• SME and primary point of contact for a high visibility book of business. Scope of support includes facilitating client calls to proactively support certificate-related items. Support new team members by providing training and answering questions for a book of business. Autonomously support certificates onboarding for new clients, acquisitions, mergers etc. Research client feedback, complete RCA, and provide organized findings to stakeholders
• Support workflow management as needed, act as a liaison/point of contact for the extended team, assist Client Team users in CSI provisioning and navigation, and assist supervisor in supporting COD including provisioning requests, administrative tasks, providing demos, and troubleshooting

What you need to have:

• Experience in customer service supporting clients in a fast-paced office environment, reviewing business documents and identifying relevant information to complete tasks, and working with multiple applications effectively to complete transactions.
• Proficient within MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to work Monday-Friday 11:00 am - 8:00 pm or 10:00 am - 7:00 pm after training, which is on-site for 5 weeks Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

This Surplus Lines Senior Coordinator role provides an opportunity to develop a career in the Operations of a global insurance brokerage and risk management firm during an exciting time of expansion and transformation. You will be based in our Austin office and will be a part of our Surplus Lines department which is responsible for the support and execution of the filing of Surplus Lines taxes on behalf of Marsh clients and Marsh placing brokers.

This role involves designing and building reports for submission tracking, collaborating with product teams to integrate vendor data, and contributing to continuous improvement through analytics projects.

Submissions Reporting: Design and build reports to track and manage front-end pricing and submission workflow
• Third Party Data: Collaborate with product teams to create and optimize utilization of vendor data
• Continuous Improvement: Learn to leverage more advanced analytics techniquires through adhoc projects and collaborative efforts
