We are looking for a skilled and experienced Manager, Integration Platform to lead our team at Circle K. This role is crucial for managing the design, development, and maintenance of our enterprise-wide integration platform. The Manager, Integration Platform reports to the Director, Enterprise Architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of integration engineers and specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Platform Management: Oversee the administration, maintenance, and evolution of our integration platform, ensuring its stability, security, and performance.
- Solution Architecture: Collaborate with Enterprise and Solution Architects to define integration patterns, standards, and best practices.
- Project Delivery: Manage the end-to-end delivery of integration projects, from initial scoping and design to deployment and post-go-live support.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to understand integration requirements and provide strategic guidance on solution design.
- Governance: Establish and enforce governance policies and procedures for the integration platform, including API lifecycle management and documentation standards.
- Technical Expertise: Stay current with new integration technologies and trends, evaluating and recommending new tools and platforms to improve efficiency and capability.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in systems integration with 2+ years in management or lead role
- Proven experience with major integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, TIBCO, or similar)
- Deep understanding of various integration patterns, protocols, and technologies (e.g. SFTP, MFT, REST, SOAP, asynchronous messaging, event-driven architecture)
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Experience with cloud-native platforms and hybrid integrations (cloud/on-prem)
- Experience in the retail or convenience store industry
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for integration development
