Job Description
**Key Responsibilities:**
Support software integration and development efforts across both Windows and Linux platforms to include compiling source code using automation tools and managing a variety of build types. Assist in integrating both Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software into broader project systems to enhance system capability and ensure seamless interoperability. Collaborate closely with teams managing current and future Tactical Data Systems (TDSs), facilitating essential functions such as data sharing, synchronization, and interface management. This includes contributing to data exchange, federation, correlation, and aggregation initiatives to support system-wide integration.
Implementation of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) on Red Hat Linux, Windows 11, and Windows Server systems to establish and maintain secure and stable product baselines to directly support compliance with cybersecurity requirements and ensure the integrity and resilience of deployed solutions.
Additionally, provide hands-on support for network setup, configuration, and maintenance across various environments, and assist in the installation and configuration of hardware and software components. Foster a collaborative team culture that emphasizes clear communication, mutual support, and high performance in achieving project goals.
**Experience Requirements:**
+ Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience supporting C4ISR engineering, software development, system/software integration, or similar USMC / Navy efforts
+ Experience must include the following:
+ Full software development lifecycle in an Agile / Scrum / SAFe environment
+ Windows and Linux operating system scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
+ Compiling source code using various automation tools and processes
+ Proficiency implementing STIGs to Red Hat and Windows 11/Windows Server systems to provide system hardening and secure product baselines
+ Familiarity with virtualization and container technologies (e.g., VMware, Docker, Kubernetes, Podman, etc.)
+ Working with databases (SQL)
+ Using CI / CD / DevOps tools (e.g., GitLab, GitHub, Ansible Automation w/ playbooks, Jenkins)
+ Modern coding languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, C#)
+ Troubleshooting or updating older (legacy) systems and/or codebases
+ Performing system testing and validation
+ Writing, reviewing, or updating software and fixing code issues
+ Familiarity with IA Controls, back up and restoration operations for Windows and Linux operating systems using COTS products
+ Ability to create manual restoration processes and/or scripted implementation for both backup and recovery operations
**Experience using the following platforms, software, applications, etc.:**
