We are currently seeking a Integrity Engineer to join our team in Energy & Resources business line in Houston, Texas. The primary roles of the Senior Cathodic Protection/Integrity Engineer are:
- This role will serve as a "seller-doer" to manage business development and pursuit strategies and working towards growing our business in this area.
- Design and evaluation of Cathodic Protection (CP) systems and stray current mitigation (field and office)
- To assist our AC mitigation team in field data collection
- To perform third party reviews of reports and designs related to corrosion and cathodic protection.
- Contribute to Stantec Specifications, Procedures and Standards as part of Stantec's continuous improvement.
- To assist in integrity assessments including fitness for service, defect assessments, risk assessments, and varying other integrity program activities. Your Responsibilities
- Delivery of accurate, timely and cost effective integrity services that meet client, Stantec and industry/regulatory standards
- Keep current on applicable pipeline and integrity codes and standards
- Design CP systems and DC interference mitigation systems, as well as assist in AC mitigation designs as required
- Assessment of CP (and potentially AC interference) survey data
- Third party review of CP and AC interference designs, reports, and inspection and commissioning data.
- Perform engineering calculations (resistance, attenuation, current distribution, etc.)
- Coordinate engineering aspects of installation of stray current mitigation and cathodic protection systems
- Deliver high quality technical reports
- Develop detailed designs as required and collaborate with drafting personnel to prepare design drawing packages
- Potential field work consisting of soil resistivity testing, structure potentials, right-of-way evaluations, and constructability assessments for AC mitigation and cathodic protection systems
- Prepare technical assessment and design reports, as well as procedures and specifications
- Support maintenance and updates to assessment criteria in accordance with evolving industry practices and stay abreast of emerging technologies
- Other integrity and pipeline engineering responsibilities including participating in varying projects on an as needed basis
- Liaise with other divisions of Stantec
- Comply with Stantec's EH&S program, with a focus on safety in the field
- Adhere to Stantec's engineering Quality System
- Establish and maintain positive client relationships
- Mentor junior personnel and collaborate with other peers
- Strengthen knowledge through on-the-job, informal and formal training
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- University Degree in an engineering discipline (corrosion, electrical, or materials engineering is preferred.)
- Professional Engineer (P.E.), Required
- Five to Ten (5-10) years of work experience in the corrosion industry required.
- Experienced with working with TXDOT and other public utilities is a plus.
- Experienced with working with Federal projects is a plus.
- Minimum AMPP certification level CP2 is required. CP3 is preferred.
- Experienced with U.S. standards, practices and applicable legislation
- Coatings experience and/or certification beneficial, but not required
- AC interference mitigation experience beneficial but not required.
- Sound interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem solving skills are essential
- Good organizational skills
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation
- Sound technical background and understanding of CP, interference, and corrosion, including field data gathering and troubleshooting

Responsibilities:

4. Reviews departmental charge capture procedures. Yearly review procedures, ensures updates have been added. Maintains a copy of all procedures. Performs random department audits to ensure they are following their procedures.

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payment Integrity Nurse to join our Claim Payment Policy team. This critical role leverages clinical and coding expertise to support the development and implementation of reimbursement and medical payment policies. The ideal candidate is a licensed nurse with strong coding knowledge who thrives on driving cost-effective utilization, maintaining policy compliance, and ensuring payment accuracy across the healthcare landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Policy Development: Create and maintain medical and reimbursement policies that align with national standards, internal benefit structures, provider contracting, and state/federal mandates.
- Clinical & Coding Expertise: Apply clinical judgment and medical coding knowledge (CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10) to evaluate claim trends, develop comprehensive code sets, and support appropriate reimbursement practices.
- Documentation & Presentation: Prepare and present Claim Payment Policy Bulletins to internal workgroups and leadership committees. Incorporate feedback and update documentation accordingly.
- Utilization Analysis: Assess utilization trends, identify cost-effective opportunities, and contribute to medical cost savings initiatives.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in clinical and coding areas, supporting various teams and departments on projects, audits, and claims analyses.
- Project Support: Contribute to business case development for clinical and payment initiatives, helping guide organizational decision-making.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work collaboratively across departments and with external partners including vendors, consultants, and regulatory organizations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent work experience.
- Licensure: Active RN license required (PA RN license strongly preferred).
- Certification: Valid medical coding certification (CCS, CPC, RHIA, or RHIT).
- Experience:
