Job Description
The Matador Intelligence Group (MIG) is looking for an Intelligence Specialist who is flexible and highly detail-oriented, who can prioritize and communicate effectively in what is sometimes a demanding environment. The Specialist supports our executive protection teams by producing a wide range of products, including written open-source intelligence reports, maintaining threat databases, and providing comprehensive travel guidance, among other assigned duties. The candidate should be self-motivated, innovative, and eager to develop and strengthen knowledge networks, able to work independently and within a team to support various stakeholders. The position is based in Wichita, Kansas and requires relocation. Occasional domestic travel is possible.
What You Will Do
The MIG is responsible for supporting the executive protection teams to ensure the safety of our principals by providing accurate and timely intelligence products. Working with other team members, you will identify and report on the potential risks, threats, and vulnerabilities impacting our executives. Duties often include:
- Conducting social media monitoring for targeted threats, fraud detection, threat surveillance, etc.
- Conduct comprehensive travel planning, including traffic monitoring and destination risk profiles
- Providing administrative and project support within the intelligence team
- Producing open-source assessments and recommendations via the intelligence cycle (planning, collection, processing, analysis, and dissemination)
- Closely monitoring assigned projects to ensure that tasks, milestones, and deadlines meet or exceed the consumer's expectations
- Utilizing effective interpersonal and communication skills as a professional representative of the Matador Intelligence Group to protect the interests of our principals
- Work extended hours and sometimes unusual shifts, (including nights, weekends, and holidays), as needed
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- High level of integrity and discretion, excellent communication and collaboration skills, professional demeanor, and strong problem-solving abilities
- Experience analyzing and synthesizing raw data and information from multiple, unrelated sources to produce accurate and comprehensive analytical reports
- Experience identifying and solving complex problems efficiently in sometimes high-pressure and challenging environments
- Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet competing deadlines and deliverables
- Experience communicating and collaborating effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Experience using a Windows operating system and basic productivity software suite (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Docs, or an equivalent suite of word processing and productivity tools)
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor's degree in intelligence/security studies, international relations, political science, history, psychology, criminal justice, or related discipline(s)
- Security or legal background (e.g., law enforcement, executive protection support, paralegal, etc.)
- Experience conducting open-source intelligence collection and analysis for the private sector, law enforcement, or the federal government
- Experience, certification, or training in threat assessment and threat management (e.g., CTM, ATAP, NABITA, etc.)
- Experience conducting due diligence investigations
- Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 suite of applications (at minimum, Word, Excel, OneNote, and Outlook)
- Data analysis, coding, or cloud computing skills

**To Succeed in This Role:**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Minimum of 10-15 years of similar experience providing intelligence, fraud or risk analysis in a financial or sales environment.
+ Applicants must have ability to work in fast-paced environment, apply analytical techniques and critical thinking skills, have excellent oral and written communications, and willingness to learn and navigate multiple system applications.
+ Proven ability to be an outstanding colleague in a collaborative setting with a strong initiative to improve processes and procedures.
+ Comfortable with changing requirements and priorities; ability to adapt quickly.
+ Experience working with the identification of fraud and social media threats.
+ Proven availability to exercise flexibility, multi-task and meet deadlines.
+ Competence using open-source and/or social media tools.
+ Working knowledge of the cyber threat landscape, including AI-related risks, phishing scams, and social engineering techniques.
+ Experience leveraging technological resources for research and analysis.
+ Possess excellent writing and oral communication skills.
+ Experience working with highly confidential information.
+ Ability to work effectively with diverse partners.
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Secondary language skills are a plus.
+ Experience conducting due diligence investigations, fraud investigations, threat analysis. CFE, CAMS or CTM certifications are a plus.
+ Familiarity with corporate environments, particularly ADP processes and related platforms and software.
+ Experience managing online risk exposure.
+ Awareness of crisis and threat management and/or fraud operations.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience.
