Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Providence Milwaukie Hospital providing specialized critical care during night shifts. The role involves delivering patient-focused, whole-person care in a fast-paced hospital environment with comprehensive benefits including tuition reimbursement and retirement plans. Description

RN – Intensive Care Unit at Providence Milwaukie Hospital. This posting represents a .9 FTE, night shift opening (7pm-7:30am, 3, 12 hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends.

Extra Incentives:

• Night shift differential – $10 p/hr

• You will administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.  

• You will provide respiratory, ventilator management, and monitoring for patients.  

• You will serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.  

• You will monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.  

• You will assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of your healthcare team.  

What qualifications you will need:   

• RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.  

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred  

• BLS required  

• Must obtain ACLS within 6 Months of hire or transfer from non ICU area  

• Specialty certification preferred  

• One to two years clinical nursing preferred   

• ICU experience preferred.
