Interactive Project Manager
• The Interactive Project Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of all digital projects for integrated campaigns produced by the agency. You will work with creative teams, account service, developers and technical partners to deploy new content and tactics on schedule, on strategy and on budget.
Responsibilities include:
• Develop project schedules and scopes of work, communicate project status and schedules to all key stakeholders and ensure deliverables and key milestones are met
• Conduct regular status meetings with internal teams and clients to review progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies
• Set up and manage routes for all digital projects through the internal agency approval process (ProofHQ/Workfront), and to clients and/or cross-functioning teams for approval and deliver final assets once approved
• Understand the Medical/Legal/Regulatory (Veeva) review process and prepare all assets and documentation for submission
• Coordinate interactive resources with studio/programming/creative leads
• Be the primary point of contact for all third-party development/deployment vendors providing regular updates, managing expectations, and addressing any issues or concerns
• Schedule all team meetings, capture notes and distribute recaps with action items
• Create, compile, and maintain project and department documentation as needed (technical documentation, server folder structure, spec sheets, estimate tracking, etc.)
Qualifications:
• Five years of experience, marketing/advertising agency preferred
• BA degree or equivalent business/industry/project experience within the interactive workspace
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of web technologies and current digital trends
• Understanding of digital project lifecycles and different project management methodologies/styles

* Ensure the interactive teaming plans align with short term R&D objectives, long term objectives, and the Merlin technology roadmap.
* Lead architecture design and perform architecture and technology trade-off analysis, accounting for short term objectives and long term goals in decision making.

About the Role
We are actively looking for a founding member of a new team to build a collaborative, offline-first visual floor plan editor. This is a next-generation tool for planning and managing the security infrastructure of complex multi-building campuses
Join a small dynamic team that loves learning and applying the newest frontend technologies to create a beautiful realtime editing surface.
You will work closely with Product and Design to develop great user experiences -- not just features -- and to help build and scale a web-based platform that will support a suite of connected devices for enterprise customers at scale.
What You'll Do
- Build a sync engine for an offline-first collaborative editor
- Implement a visually engaging editor for our security deployment experts, aiding them in planning, deploying, and configuring Verkada's wide range of hardware product offerings.
- Develop visually engaging power-user features, such as camera line-of-sight analysis and AI feature range tooling, useful for analyzing deployments in complex, real-world environments
- Experiment with cutting-edge browser features to find their opportunities and limitations
Mentor teammates on frontend best practices and architectural patterns
- 7+ years of industry software engineering experience
- Degree in Computer Science (or Engineering equivalent)
- Mastery of JavaScript: Scoping, closures, contexts, prototypes, classes, etc.
- React expertise, including common state and data libraries (React Query, Zustand, etc.)
- Thorough understanding of coordinate system conversions and projections
- Eye for design, product details, and polish
These will set you apart as a candidate, but not required.
- Working knowledge of at least one server-side framework and one database system
- Experience with real-time collaborative applications
- Understanding of offline-first architectures (CRDTs, Operational Transforms).
- Experience with 2D graphics libraries (Canvas API, Konva.js, or similar)
- WebGL or GPU programming experience
- GIS experience (PostGIS, QGIS, ArcGIS, or web mapping libraries)

Annual Pay Range
At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity.
