Position Responsibilities
  • Creates and innovates with a strong conceptual design ability and integrates interdisciplinary criteria to effectively move the design of a project component(s) forward.
  • Demonstrates an intermediate understanding of Interiors and Architectural building materials and finishes, building systems, specifications, current and applicable building and fire codes, design and detailing standards and construction techniques, and current market cost(s) costing trends.
  • Able to enrich design concepts through technical strategies and effectively uses appropriate tools to research, design and document at all project phases.
  • Demonstrates an intermediate knowledge of Interior Architecture and Architectural design including workplace planning and design concept development (hospitality and/or residential as applicable), design documentation, construction documentation, construction administration, and furniture (FF&E) and materials selection and specifications,
  • Manages time and workload to meet project task deadlines and commitments with periodic interaction and direction from project leaders while sharing knowledge with less experienced staff.
  • Exhibits initiative, process innovation, problem solving, and decision quality with a high attention to precision and accuracy at a project component level.
  • Actively collaborates at a project and consultant team level by critically and constructively evaluating ideas. Contributes to and actively participates within the studio.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Completion of a professional degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field; LEED accreditation preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience or equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Effectively communicates with the project team and consultants through timely and appropriate written, oral, and visual means.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

ROLE

The Intermediate Designer works in the various phases of small and/or specialized phases of large, complex projects, assisting with rendered plans and section elevations, furniture layouts, color and material boards, drawing presentations, and product sourcing. The Intermediate Designer participates in complex interior design assignments and supports the preparation of drawings, CAD design, graphics and sketching; client presentations; and organizes sample resources for the Studio.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develops innovative design concepts that are practical, aesthetic, safe and reflective of the intended purpose and function of the project
  • Prepares and provides assignments with a focus on keeping the project on schedule and within budget
  • Selects and specifies interior architectural materials and finishes, including furniture, lighting and artwork to carry out the design intent
  • Able to independently deliver design concepts and conduct programming efforts, such as space planning, layout and FF&E utilization, lighting and color coordination
  • Renders conceptual design ideas and prepares 2D and 3D presentation and design drawings
  • Participates in team meetings to align the project deliverables to the design intent and prepares and participates in client presentations
  • Prepares and updates documents during schematic design and the design development phases
  • Coordinates with the Purchasing Agent on bids and subcontracting fabrication

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related field
  • Environmental accreditation desired
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience designing and delivering interior designer projects

We are seeking a highly skilled digital experience designer with a strong background in UI/UX, front-end design, and light development. This role requires advanced proficiency in Figma for prototyping and interface design, working knowledge of HTML and CSS, and experience updating and managing content within WordPress. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, understand user flow optimization, and be comfortable producing high-quality video content for web and social use. Success in this role requires the ability to take initiative, manage multiple projects, and contribute to both marketing and product-focused design efforts in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description:
This role is responsible for designing and improving user experiences across our digital platforms, with a focus on UI design, front-end execution, and video content creation. The ideal candidate brings a combination of strong visual design skills and technical ability, with a proven track record of building clean, intuitive digital interfaces.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes in Figma to support web, dashboard, and quoting tool development
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and development teams to deliver engaging, user-centered design solutions
  • Implement light front-end updates using HTML and CSS, working closely with developers to bring designs to life
  • Manage and update WordPress pages, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and UX standards
  • Produce and edit short-form videos for marketing campaigns, internal initiatives, and tutorials
  • Support the creation and maintenance of design systems and digital brand standards
  • Conduct or participate in user testing and apply feedback to iterate on design
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media, or a related field
    (A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, front-end digital work, or a similar role
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX work, prototypes, and examples of web design and/or video content
  • Advanced experience in Figma (UX flows, components, prototypes)
  • Strong understanding of UI principles and responsive design
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Hands-on WordPress experience (page building, content updates)
  • Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative on assigned projects
Preferred Experience:
  • Familiarity with JavaScript or web animations
  • Experience designing for B2B platforms or quoting tools
  • Understanding of marketing automation tools or CRM-integrated platforms
  • Background in insurance, SaaS, or regulated industries
Pay Range

$75,000 - $90,000 and will depend on several factors including geographical location, relevant experience, skills and knowledge pertaining to this role and industry.
