The Buyer at Sundyne completes the full cycle of procurement for their product from Purchase Orders, Order Acknowledgements, to Shipment tracking and delivery. Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Purchases a broad, highly mixed and/or technical category of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies, which may involve contract negotiations, material deviation, and other complex considerations. Administers and directs orders on a timely and economical basis with the best combination of price, quality, and delivery

• Issue requests for quotes (RFQ's) and select best source consistent with cost, quality and delivery requirements

The opportunity:

WestRocku2019s pulp and paper mill located in Longview, WA is actively seeking to fill an Intermediate-level Pipefitter position. The successful candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and be willing and eager to invest time and energy in training to gain the necessary skills and knowledge required to be successful. This position will perform a variety of maintenance and repair activities on piping systems of all sizes in a large paper mill while adhering to safety protocols and policies. Some basic duties include inspecting and repairing piping systems and associated equipment, cutting, welding. Additionally, this position will interface operators, engineers, and management.

How you will impact WestRock:

• Perform a variety of maintenance-related tasks in connection with the maintenance department.

• Repair and/or make improvements to equipment related to pulp and paper manufacturing processes.

• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

• Safely operate overhead cranes, rigging, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, tube bending machines, and various power tools.

Position Overview

This position is responsible to provide operational support in reconstruction efforts for clients. Qualified Candidate must have extensive carpentry experience and capability of working with little supervision. • Construct appropriate containment for construction dust, dirt and airborne contaminant in working area
