**About the role:**
As a leading member of Takeda's Global Environment and Sustainability Team, this role works to develop and implement effective collaborations to minimize our environmental footprint across our value chain while supporting engagement and communications activities to demonstrate Takeda's leadership in global health and sustainability. In partnership with Global Manufacturing and Supply (GMS) Global Communications colleagues, this role will support ongoing communications opportunities, including internal and external activations on Takeda's Planet performance and accomplishments, employee engagement on key environmental awareness days and overall elevating our profile and positioning in global health and climate. This role will also lead a comprehensive external collaborations strategy including the planning, development and execution of Takeda's value chain climate change collaborations to support Takeda's overall net-zero ambition. You will report to the Global Head of Environment and Sustainability.
**How you will contribute:**
+ Manage environmental sustainability internal and external communications including intranet, Websites, Viva Engage, social media, earned media, etc.
+ Oversee strategy for Planet sponsorship of external events and meetings, and overall positioning of team engagement including review and vetting of speaking opportunities
+ Lead annual employee engagement and awareness activities including annual environmental day campaigns, such as Earth Day, and support of global green teams
+ Maintain a view on the major external stakeholder groups related to Takeda's environmental sustainability strategy - including technical working groups, industry coalitions, and global forums - while supporting the optimization of Takeda's involvement from an efficiency and impact perspective
+ Work cross-functionally to identify, establish and execute external collaborations to address hard-to-abate scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions
+ Maintain strategic alignment between various stakeholders (e.g., Global Manufacturing & Supply Communications, Global Corporate Affairs, Global Finance, Global Distribution & Logistics, R&D, Ethics & Compliance etc.) and within Takeda's business structure to drive progress toward Planet objectives
+ Represent Takeda in external forums as appropriate, sharing best practices and advocating for the company's environmental policies and initiatives
+ Support Planet content review and development including ensuring the accuracy of internal and external sustainability claims as well as contributing to key disclosures such as Takeda's Annual Integrated Report
**Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:**
+ Required: Bachelor's degree with a focus in Communications, Environmental Management or Sustainability, or science/engineering degree
+ Preferred: Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing/Communications, Environmental Management, Sustainability and/or other science-related degrees such as Engineering
+ 7+ years' experience in a similar or related corporate or consultancy sustainability role
+ Proficiency in sustainability related data measurement, tracking, analytics tools and management programs a plus
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to find solutions to challenges
+ Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare or related industries and corporate level sustainability/ESG experience are desired

**U.S. Base Salary Range:**
$153,600.00 - $241,340.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. SUMMARY OF POSITION:
As an integral part of the Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) team, the Site Occupational Health & Safety Lead assumes a leadership position, spearheading Kimberly-Clark’s (K-C) commitment to Better Care for a Better World. - Qualifications required by local regulatory authorities if any.
- At least 3 plus years of experience in a leadership, management, or supervisory role.

**Required Education and Years of Relevant Experience**

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Senior Energy Analyst (Environmental Sustainability) is responsible to the Manager of Environmental Sustainability. The Senior Energy Analyst is responsible for monitoring energy usage. The Analyst performs various types of analysis of energy consumption and pricing help understand major drivers of change and potential opportunities for energy-efficient improvements. The Analyst develops and executes strategic plans for the collection, trending, and management of energy and emissions data and will recommend best practices for increasing resilience and reducing emissions across multiple sources. The Analyst will support sustainability initiatives and greenhouse gas accounting and mitigation.
The Senior Energy Analyst will work closely with the FacilitiGroup Environmental Sustainability team and other environmental sustainability stakeholders to research and answer carbon emissions trends and results and to administer and/or perform key internal control activities. He/she also interprets, designs, and develops analysis, to solve complex operational, financial and/or accounting problems relating to the environmental sustainability subject matter.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Calculating and validating savings from Balanced Plan initiatives to ensure accurate reporting and support strategic decision making
+ Analyzes energy trends relating to consumption and pricing, identifies significant outliers, creates and executes actions plans to mitigate outliers and issues
+ Supports HCA Environmental Sustainability initiatives and carbon accounting reporting
**What will you do in this role:**
+ Acts as organizational subject matter expert for energy analysis
+ Assists with performance measurement of environmental sustainability initiatives by ensuring commitments/investments are supported by detailed performance baselines and action plans
+ Communicates energy analysis reporting performance with all stakeholders
+ Perform trend and variance analysis using Capturis data and other relevant emission source data
+ Perform coding reviews of utilities consumption and service cost fluctuations using Capturis data
+ Support on-going data maintenance of PowerBI dashboards relating to energy use
+ Assists with the completion of carbon emissions calculations and related variance reviews
+ Supports HCA environmental sustainability initiatives
+ Ensures an effective control system supporting energy data quality standards
+ Drives capability maturation through process and technology enhancements
+ Stays abreast of reporting and regulatory compliance standards; supports the implementation of new disclosures and/or processes required by various organizations
+ Communicate and collaborate effectively with others from diverse backgrounds, skillsets, and talents, ranging from other functional area's subject matter experts to executive leadership
+ Promote efficiency and repeatability of reporting and analytical tasks, including documentation and automation as appropriate
+ Strong attention to detail is required in order to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data being reported

**What qualifications will you need:**
+ Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or General) or related field
+ Master's degree preferred
+ 5 years' experience in energy (reporting/operations) and/or environmental sustainability
+ Understand fundamental and technical energy market dynamics
+ Familiar with different ISO markets and pricing structure/components in each market
+ Understanding of facility operations in large acute care facilities and energy consumption cost drivers
+ Experience in energy management and controls, energy auditing, or facilities management
+ CEA, Certified Energy Auditor preferred
+ CEM, Certified Energy Manager preferred
