$405,000 - $574,922 a year
**Description**
The Department of Medicine, Cardiology Division at the University of Rochester Medical Center is recruiting a board certified/board eligible interventional cardiologist at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level for its clinical interventional cardiology program. Structural heart disease experience is not required but will be considered specifically for candidates with experience.
This program currently consists of an 8-member clinical faculty group with high volumes of diagnostic, interventional, and structural cardiac procedures serving a 7-hospital health system that provides care throughout upstate and western New York. Candidates with experience and interest in high-risk PCI and mechanical circulatory support will be strongly considered as the medical center is a tertiary referral center supporting one of the largest VAD programs in the country and the only heart transplant program in western and upstate New York. The clinical program is complimented by a highly regarded cardiovascular clinical research program with substantial NIH and industry funding. A very competitive compensation and benefits package is offered.

Must obtain a New York State Medical License prior to start date
Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry
Must meet all credentialing requirements
Eligible for Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology
Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required
Compliance with University and New York State health requirements

+ Be board-certified/eligible in cardiovascular disease and Interventional Cardiology.
+ Have at least 1-2 years of post-fellowship experience in independent PCI/STEMI call coverage.

+ Desire to live on or near the South Fork or North Fork of Long Island to ensure close proximity (~20-30 minutes) to support timely STEMI call coverage.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
MD, DO or MD/PhD (or foreign equivalent). Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Board certified/eligible in both Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. Excellence in clinical care and teaching in cardiology (inpatient and outpatient). U.S. work authorization.
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
Level II training in echocardiography or advanced imaging, including nuclear training.
