**Position Summary:**
**A Brief Overview What you will do:**
+ Compiles and reconciles discrepancies found with book inventory to ensure products remain in-stock. Determines the root cause of inventory variances. Communicates deviations from expected outcomes to internal teams.
+ Processes returns, warranty claims, recalls, expired materials, and/or exchanges for the distribution department through an internal electronic system.
+ Conducts cycle counts of all inventories for domestically and internationally shipped items, as well as intermittent counts requested by Management, Buyers, Accounting, Merchandise Billing, or Production.
+ Collaborates with corporate to ensure all seasonal inventory is sized, billed, and shipped to stores on time.
+ Processes damaged stock items within the distribution department and repairs items to stock when possible.
+ Audits team performance within the distribution department and reports performance evaluations with feedback with recommendations.
+ Measures and prepares new inventory for stock, corrects sizing discrepancies in stock, and optimizes inventory placement in the distribution center for ergonomics and pick efficiency.
+ When required, operates turret trucks, electric pallet jacks, or any other mobile-powered equipment in a safe, responsible manner as defined in the D.C. Operation Training and Certification Program and through Management directives.

As part of the Inventory Management Applications Suite, Senior Application Developer is responsible for leading very high volume / low latency enterprise multi-tiered Java applications to provide cutting edge solutions for the Stock Record and related Application in the Capital Markets domain while following the industry best practices and Citi standards.
The primary responsibility will be leading the design and development and providing Level 3 support for these applications. Coordination between stakeholders and teams; thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential. Stock Record is business critical, with complex interfaces/dependencies, consisting of time sensitive deliveries.
As a Senior Application Developer, the candidate must have a strong emphasis on Microservice architecture and design patterns, who can lead the deliverable activities, analysis of the business requirement, architecting and the building of the solution (conceptualize, design and development of the solution) while working and collaborating with a distributed team of developers working simultaneously on different application layers towards developing enterprise solutions for large projects. We are seeking an Associate Principal Scientist to contribute to a pivotal role in our Inventory and Data Management team in our company Biomarker Operations group within Translational Medicine. The mission of this role is to design, build, and deploy the digital infrastructure that manages our biomarker specimen assets. You will transform a complex landscape of biomarker specimen data into a streamlined, accessible, and intelligent ecosystem. By automating workflows, powerful analytics, and stewarding these data, you will empower our scientists and clinical teams to make faster, data-driven decisions that propel our pipeline forward.
**In this pivotal role, you will:**
+ Be responsible for integrating, cleaning, and governing disparate data sources such as biorepositories, central, and testing labs , into a cohesive and governed data environment.
+ Maintain accurate and comprehensive specimen inventory by tracking specimens collected from our company clinical trials and assay metadata generated from these collections.
+ Embed automated quality control checks and validation rules directly into data pipelines, ensuring our data assets meet the highest standards for compliance and integrity.
+ Support teams with reports of biomarker information using various query and database integration tools.
+ Leverage the Microsoft Power Platform to eliminate manual processes in specimen tracking, data QC, and reporting. You will build and deploy reusable automation solutions that increase efficiency and accuracy across dozens of clinical trials.
+ Design and implement robust, scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL.

The salary range for this role is
$139,600.00 - $219,700.00
