Responsible for, controlling and managing activities related to inventory control within the stockroom, receiving, shipping, and expediting, working under general supervision within designated area. Troubleshoot and rectify straight forward discrepancies.
Essential Functions:
+ Works under general supervision while performing physical or administrative tasks that support the receiving, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.
+ Tracks all production and non-production material coming from the dock using a Product Tracking System.
+ Identifies problems in straight forward situations and escalates them to management for resolution.
+ Verify and inspect for non-conforming material in accordance with L3Harris Inventory Management procedures.
+ Safely handles, transfers, and transports chemicals in accordance with the current version of Hazardous Chemical Guidebook.
+ Receives incoming materials, unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices. Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications.
+ Maintains records of received goods, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents.
+ Lifts heavy items and may operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, tow motors, forklifts, etc. upon receipt of internal certification.
+ Knowledge of material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
Qualifications:
+ Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
+ Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
Preferred Additional Skills:
+ General knowledge of electronic component handling/packaging/storage.
+ Experience with Receiving and Distribution Environment

**What you'll do**
+ All phases of underground construction include but are not limited to: Loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment
+ Assists the Inventory Specialist with staging materials for specific jobs
+ Assists the Inventory Specialist with maintaining location's inventory, reconciling physical inventory and offloading/loading trucks
+ Tracks, receives and verifies new material shipments and coordinates handling and storage as it arrives
+ Maintains organization of inventory
+ Maintains a clean and orderly shop and yard area
+ Assists with inventory counts
+ Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations, procedures and policies

**What you'll need**
+ To be 18 years of age or older
+ Authorization to work in the United States for this company
+ Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
